Cozy Hunter Valley Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful countryside getaway. Wake up to the sounds of amazing native birds surrounded by native trees on over 100+ acres in the beautiful Hunter Valley. This cozy 2 bedroom cottage is a perfect family farm stay. We have beautiful animals the guests can interact with including horses and chickens, which may provide the freshest eggs for your breakfast on the wrap-around veranda taking in the view over the dams and the rolling hills beyond. The space The cottage consists of 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed. Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed with an additional trundle. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided. Guest access Guests are welcome to roam around the 100+ acre farm including the dams. We have 10 beautiful horses on the farm, and ask guests to keep out of the paddocks with the horses on them for their own safety as well as the safety of the horses. Please be mindful of all our animals and keep all gates closed. Leading up to our property, driving along a dirt road is required. It is accessible on a 2WD, but please be careful after heavy rain. Other things to note The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen which is often stocked with the basic requirements, including a dishwasher and some staples. Induction cooktop, microwave and gas BBQ, Ninja mixer and of course kettle and toaster. We provide hand and body soap, toilet paper and quality shampoo and conditioner during your stay. The cottage does not have any laundry facilities. Super comfy beds, quality bed linen, including towels and tea towels are all included. Free NBN wifi, (good mobile reception is also available throughout the property) Nespresso coffee machine, Apple TV for access to all your the streaming apps (your own account details may be required for some apps) Each bedroom has a ceiling fan as well as reverse cycle air-conditioning for both summers and winter. Although in winter you may wish the light the log fire, with wood provided in those months. Outdoor fire pit is available all year round for those marshmallow evenings, as we all a second outdoor dining table for easy serving for anything you cook on the open fire. While outside, you may encounter natural insects or reptiles, and we have provided repellent and sting cream for you, but we always recommend caution and wearing closed shoes when exploring the beautiful surrounds. While you do have the cottage to yourself during your stay, there are times when the animals may need to be tended to. You will not be disturbed and I usually let you know by message, so you are not wondering who is roaming around in the paddocks.
