Relax in nature in this rustic cabin with a porch overlooking the beautiful White River. Camper Cabin #1 is situated only 20 feet from the river bank at our private fully shaded campground only 1/10 mile from our main resort property. This one room cedar cabin combines the best of camping without having to pack up the house or sleep on the ground or do without electricity. The cabin has a built in queen bed and two sets of twin bunk beds, a window AC/space heater, small refrigerator/freezer combo, microwave, and coffee pot. You will use the campground shower house conveniently located only 30 feet behind your cabin for showers/restroom facilities. The cabin has a screened door, front porch, dedicated charcoal grill, and firepit. The rate listed includes your bed linens, pillows and towels. In addition to the campground property including the metal stairs leading to wade fishing, when water is low enough, we want you to enjoy the full resort property including the lower lawn area down from our office/bait shop. This space boasts two shared fire-pit areas, two hammocks, ample bank fishing spots nestled between the dock and the ramp where AGFC stocks trout 1-2 times per week. Additionally, near the office there is a children's wooden playground set. Feel free to take the short 1/10 mile drive down to access these areas or even walk down as it is a beautiful walk. Because the resort is at the end of the lane and not on the highway, there is little through traffic which allows you to enjoy nature and quiet serenity. Our guests often remark that even during busy periods, they do not feel crowded by other visitors as there is so much green space and room to spread out. We have a full service office/bait shop and dock staffed daily from 8am-5pm. Our housekeeping staff will check on guests each day to provide towel and trash service along with light cleaning, if requested. We are happy to provide concierge services and provide safe rides, errands, and even have have some meal options available. Call or text us with any questions or needs. Our goal is to go above and beyond with friendly service. Camper Cabin 1 is part of Rainbow Drive Resort and only steps away from excellent bank & wade fishing. There is a full service dock with boat rentals and guided fishing services. Our office doubles as a bait shop and we also offer fishing rod rentals. Knowledgeable and friendly staff are on hand daily to provide above and beyond services. The resort is located at the end of a residential neighborhood and the owners live on-site. This provides a safe and quiet setting with the only traffic being our other resort guests and resort employees. We have parking for up to two vehicles right by your cabin and plenty of parking 100 yards away within the view of your kitchen window for additional vehicles and boat trailers. There is a dedicated parking space directly behind your cabin. For second cars, we ask that you park facing the showerhouse in the overflow parking just as you enter the campground's circle drive. If you have brought a boat and trailer to please talk to the office for the best place to park these as they are longer and can obstruct resort traffic flow. We do have a safe place for your boat trailer.. Additionally, while we do have a ramp, it is not insured for customer boat launching. However, Wild Cat Shoals Public Access is only one mile up the road. You may tie your private boat off at our dock during the day for breaks, but please talk to our office about overnight tie off possibility and associated fees.
