Secluded in the North Georgia Mountains, outdoor amenities include a grill, fire pit, and hot tub. Hiking, wine vineyards, antique stores, local dining, and the Chattahoochee River are all within short drives. Our cabin is a cozy 960 sq feet, nestled on the side of pink mountain and surrounded by trees. Big enough to stretch your legs but not big enough to get lost. The outside resembles the stereo typical shed hence our name. The main floor is complete with fully loaded kitchen, dining area, and living rooms. You will find a laundry room that has a half bath in it. Non-aggressive dogs welcome with pet fee of $100. Our wonderful “Shed” sits right on the side of Pink mountain. You will have full access to our home and our backyard. The hot-tub and fire pit are private. Our property backs up to Yonah Mountain and the national forest. There are plenty of woods to explore, but we are in a neighborhood. In the guest book you will find a map laying out our property. I will be available via text and phone. We are in the area to come and help with any needs. Near Helen and at the gateway to north Georgia, The neighborhood is quite eclectic originally built as a possible retreat so you will notice many of the houses are identical. They look like giant sheds hence our name of “the Shed”. The neighborhood is made up of a little bit of everyone. Full time residents, vacation homes, retirees, and short term rentals. It is important to note that the roads in the neighborhood are all one lane so please be aware when you may have to yield to another car. Our cabin is tucked away in the mountain. Which provides for great seclusion and nice quite. To get around though the roads are one lane and nay require you to yield to other vehicles or vice Versa. The roads are also a mix of pavement and gravel. Be aware there are some steep hills. Be aware the roads are difficult for trailers and extra long vehicles.
