The Historic 1914 "Pink House" of Lovelock. The 1st Mayor of Lovelock, Banker, Nevada State Senator, & Mine owner of Seven Troughs; Louis A. Friedman's home. Located in the downtown area, 3 blocks to City Center, Grocery Store (Safeway), Lovelock Swimming Pool, & ROUND Court House where you can "Lock your love". Your own, completely private, section of the home. Large, Quiet & Peaceful. Queen Bed. Netflix's, Discovery, Prime & DVD library. Check in any time after 2pm. Check out 11am. The space Unique, fun, quiet place to stay in our little town. With a lot of history. Our home sat vacant for a little over 30 years. So it’s a work in progress in trying to bring this home back to life. If you want perfection & pristine, this is probably not the place for you. Your own private entry, and completely private area of the home. Large Kitchenette with a 2 burner induction cooktop available upon request (with cooking pots/pans & utensils), a retro Galanz Fridge, microwave, Keurig & dining table area. Lots of windows and light. *Please note this is a kitchenette which means there is no kitchen sink (only bathroom sink) and only a burner induction cooktop available. In keeping with the historic nature of the house it is decorated in an old Lovelock/ western theme and newly added mural. With some fabulous old photos of Lovelock. Private full size bathroom with tub/shower combo. Stocked with towels, and bathroom rugs, shampoo, conditioner and body wash for guest use. Large bedroom with closet & dresser. Queen bed. Large 4ft screen TV with Discovery Network, Netflix's, Prime, DVD movie library, and iPhone charger. You have regular heat in the house and your own brand new window A/C unit. Extra blankets, Sheets, fan, and heater in the closet. Brand new Washer & Dryer free for guest use as well. (You will need to purchase your own detergent). *No Smoking Room *No pets. Exceptions MIGHT be made for one pet with prior approval and pet deposit. If you’re interested in Lovelock history check out the public Face book Group, “The History of Lovelock” What to do: Marzen House Museum about 5 minutes away. Lovelock Caves about 30 minutes away. Thunder Mountain about 20 minutes away. Seven Troughs Ghost town about 40 minutes. Shooting Range 10 minutes away. Guest access You can park in front of the house on Western Avenue. Entrance to rental unit is on the right side of the house. Follow the round stepping stone pavers to the stairs. When you come through exterior door, the room is the door to your right. There is parking for larger vehicles, people with trailers, RVs on the Grinnell Avenue side of the house, as well as behind the house. Just let us know beforehand. *PLEASE NOTE* The bedroom has a door closed off to the other section of the house. There is an additional lock on the interior of the door for the guest, to insure their security of privacy. Other things to note This guest suite was recently renovated in Feb-June 2026. Improvements include the removal of multiple layers of painted wallpaper, repair and restoration of the original plaster walls, removal of the drop ceiling, fresh interior paint, and installation of a wall mural of Lovelock in its heyday and a brand-new toilet. Please note that we are currently completing cosmetic improvements to the exterior of the home to enhance its historic charm and curb appeal. We are mindful of our guests' comfort and do not schedule noisy construction activities during guest stays.
