Beautiful getaway in Sioniac

On the heights of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, recently ranked among "The Most Beautiful Villages of France", in the heart of the small quiet and peaceful village of Sioniac, let the sound of bells and roosters' crowing punctuate your days. This charming house (classified as 3* furnished tourism) typical of the half-timbered houses has been renovated by us. You'll be just a 5-minute drive to the center of Beaulieu, its shops and access to the Dordogne (2.5 km). The space // Make sure to review the entire listing and its house rules before you make your reservation. Even if we do our best to accommodate your specific requests, let's avoid surprises😉! // Our house (approx. 75m2) is fully equipped and is composed of: - 1 bedroom with queensize bed (160x200 - August 2024 bedding) - a large living room with fully equipped open kitchen - separate bathroom and toilet - upstairs, a large open room with 1 double bed (140 x 190 cm) and 2 single beds (90 x 180 cm), accessible by a rather steep staircase without a handrail. The house is fully air-conditioned (reversible air conditioning), and has in addition to a pellet stove for winter. The beds will be made upon your arrival and towels will be at your disposal, so don't charge yourself! Also, a baby chair, a bathtub and a crib are also there to make your stay easier if you come with a young child. You can take advantage of the exteriors below (not closed) at your convenience: - a terrace & pergola: garden furniture for 6 people, gas plancha and two sunbaths at the foot of the banana trees - a wood of more than 1000m² where you could find some mushrooms or figs in the right seasons. The wood is left free to its development and is a nice playground for wild animals that get closer to the village. It is maintained at a minimum. Children must remain under supervision. ******** We choose not to do any surcharges: cleaning, sheets, towels, dog, electricity or heating; and everything you need is available for your first few nights (toilet paper, sponge, dish soap, coffee, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, hygiene products (shower gel and shampoo)... So we count on you to leave the house as you found it on arrival. Household products, vacuum cleaner, broom, microfibers... are of course at your disposal on site. We can offer our house at rates accessible for families on vacation in the Dordogne Valley, a very touristy area whose rates of classified accommodation can be high. So we count on everyone's honesty, courtesy, and responsibility🙏! Other things to note Our little house is located in a village in the middle of the rural area on the heights of Beaulieu, do not be surprised to see your days punctuated by the sound of the bells and the singing of the roosters ... and to meet a few dogs, donkeys, tractors, horses or chickens in the neighborhood! Pets allowed but unenclosed land. Free street parking: to park your car, no stress, park by squeezing against the wall above the garden and pergola. There is little traffic on this axis. Electric vehicle charging is not allowed. Finally, note that the house is not accessible to people with mobility difficulties. There is one step to access the property, then another to access the house. Inside, you will find a step to access the bathroom, and the original staircase to go upstairs does not have a handrail and is very steep. Outside, note that the land is in high cant.
