The River Suite is a private, handicap accessible two room suite with bath in an existing new log home on the Greenbrier River. There is 600' of riverfront and 141 acres of mountain land. The view of the river from the porch is worth the trip all by itself! It's not unusual to see an occasional Great Blue Heron or Bald Eagle. Wildlife and wildflowers abound on this property. The Greenbrier River remains the largest river in WV that has never been dammed so native species abound. The space This space is comparable to a two room hotel suite and has no kitchen. It has a large mini-frige, microwave, and Keurig coffeemaker. An iron and hairdryer are also provided. If you desire, bring paper plates and plastic eating utensils. Guest access You have access to the adjoining porch overlooking the Greenbrier River and the grounds around the house as well as 300' of riverfront land. A nice hike "up the holler" is always a pleasant way to spend a morning or afternoon. Other things to note The town of Hinton, WV is about seven miles away and has a Kroger and a hardware store as well as various restaurants. There is a Dollar General two miles from the River Cabin for immediate needs without having to go all the way in to town.
