The Tiddler | Winterton Cottages

The Tiddler is a wonderful two bedroom chalet in the Lighthouse Field behind Hermanus Holidays in Winterton-on-Sea. The property is in a quiet position with a wide open space in front, the iconic Winterton Lighthouse behind and views across open countryside. From the property there is easy access to the beach and dunes just a few minutes walk away. Sleeps four in two bedrooms with two dogs welcome at no additional charge but please note the grounds are not enclosed. The space The Tiddler is situated in a small development of holiday homes in the Lighthouse Field behind Hermanus Holidays in Winterton-on-Sea. Inside you'll find an open plan living area, electric fire and Smart TV. There's a dining area which seats four, and a well equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The chalet is decorated tastefully throughout. There are two comfortable bedrooms. The first has a standard double bed and the second bedroom has two 3' single beds making it a perfect family getaway. The bathroom has a large walk in shower, washbasin and WC. Two dogs are welcome at The Tiddler but please note that the grounds are not enclosed. Guests at The Tiddler have access to the facilities at Hermanus*, including the outdoor heated swimming pool which is open from late May to early September. It is right next to the childrens' play area and surrounded by a brick wall to keep out the coastal breeze. There is a launderette and plenty of parking on site. The Coach & Horses bar & lounge is at the front of the main Hermanus building with amazing sea views, and is open for drinks and food throughout the week. *Please check opening times here as these do vary.
