Linda Vista Loft - Walk to the Rose Bowl!

Large, private loft space with your own entrance and bathroom. Walking distance to the Rose Bowl and close to the popular Old Town Pasadena district. Easy access to many freeways, hiking trails, and only 12 miles to Downtown LA. As a couple of LA natives, we are happy to offer suggestions for the local eats, arts, and culture! The space You will follow the lighted pathway to your own private entrance with a convenient keypad controlled door. You will go up the flight of stairs. At the top you will find a large private space with a queen sized bed, double sinks, shower/tub, and desk. (There is some additional space for a small mattress or crib - ask us if you need it!) There is a kitchenette, much as you'd find in a hotel room, with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker (k-cups provided), and all the dishes and utensils you will need to enjoy simple meals and snacks. Please note that there isn't an oven or cooktop. The main space has high, vaulted ceilings and central air conditioning and heating with your own control panel. A seating area at the bay window overlooks mature trees and allows plenty of natural light into the space. Black out shades on windows are great for sleeping in or cool naps. Please note that there is no TV available in the room, but there are a lot of books (and access to WiFi)! Guest access We live downstairs, but your space is completely private and separated from ours by stairs and a folding door. Your room is above the garage, so there are no shared walls or floors. That said, you may hear us and our two little ones from time to time. During your stay Since we live downstairs, we'll most likely be around during your stay and you may hear us a bit (or the occasional noises of our kids). Most people have told us that they haven't noticed! We will let you take the lead of how much interaction you'd like. If you have any questions or concerns, we'll be right downstairs or a phone call away. Otherwise we'll leave you alone to enjoy your stay. Other things to note --We are a 1 mile walk from the Rose Bowl gate. --Free street parking during the day and off-street parking in the evening and for events. --Sometime we can be flexible with check-in/check-out times; just let us know what your schedule allows! --We do have pets in our home (a dog and 2 cats), but they are not allowed in the space (we try to keep it animal free upstairs). --If you're looking for interesting things to do during your stay or need help getting around, we'd love to provide suggestions.
