Thunder Ridge Country Living

Welcome to Thunder Ridge! Located right in between historic Western towns Azle and Weatherford at the top of the highest hill in the area. You'll find a nine acre ranch with chickens, guineas, sheep, and a donkey. The first thing everyone says at Thunder Ridge is, "The view is amazing!" At night you can even see the lights of downtown Fort Worth from the top of the hill (not from inside the living space). The space You go through one gate, go up a hill, and go through another, and then you see it. An old, weathered workshop with a secret within. Inside you will find a 740 square foot apartment including a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining/living room, and washer/dryer in unit. Bedroom features one queen sized bed, nightstand and dresser, air conditioning unit and ceiling fan, and two large mirrored closets (one with washer and dryer). Attached to bedroom is the bathroom with recently remodeled tile shower (58" x 30"). Passing through the curtained doorway you enter the kitchen/living room with plenty of storage space. This area includes a ceiling fan and separate air conditioning unit. Full kitchen includes refrigerator/freezer (with fresh eggs from chickens inside), sink, countertop electric stove, microwave, and other amenities for cooking and dining. Adjacent to the kitchen is the living/dining room. Dining area contains a dining table with four chairs, 50" Plasma TV with Roku (all major streaming services are installed, but guests are asked to log in with their own account). Living room is furnished with a couch, love seat, and coffee table. Also in the living room is a kitchen island cart with a Keurig and a wide variety of coffees and teas. Guest access Hosts live in the main residence on the property, 50 yards from your Airbnb. Guests are invited to explore and enjoy all other parts of the nine acre ranch. We only ask that you be kind to the animals and to close any gates you open behind you. Other things to note Guests will be provided their own remote for the gates at the property entrance. We ask that you always close gates behind you. Be sure to note: -There are motion-activated security lights on the front, back, and parking side of the Airbnb. -There are two large, friendly dogs on the property, Gene (German Shepard, 2) and Cottontail (Great Pyrenees, 3). They are no danger to you, but they are friendly and enjoy meeting guests. If you dislike dogs or are afraid, are allergic, or would prefer to not have them around, ours is not an ideal Airbnb for you. -There are outdoor barn cats on the property. -Note that the closets in the bedroom have mirrored sliding doors. This includes the laundry closet and the closet for clothes. Lots of mirrors around the room. -There has been recent construction (2/25) at our Airbnb. An office has been added to the structure that is not available to guests, and it is completely separate giving guests total privacy.
