Description
Nakamura is a house inspired by Samurai culture and Jiu-jitsu practices. The aesthetic is based on the term “Wabi-Sabi” which means “the beauty of imperfection.” This concept combines the composition of minimalism with the warmth of objects from nature. The space Nakamura has 4 rooms, two facing the lagoon and the sunrise and two facing the sunset. Each room has 2 levels. This room has mountain/sunset views. Downstairs is the living room, concrete tub, bathroom, fireplace and a private deck. Upstairs the queen bed with fabrics and wooden lattices. This house seeks to disconnect from noise and promotes tranquility and silence. The house has a tatami on the ground floor to invite guests to enjoy a coexistence on the floor with Ottoman leather cushions, paying tribute to the 'wabi' concept that means the elegance and simplicity of the rustic. *PET FRIENDLY: pets cost 1,000.00 MXN each *Casa Japoneza and Casa Nakamura share the pool. There are two houses here, one named Japoneza and the other named Nakamura. This listing is ONLY FOR A ROOM IN CASA NAKAMURA. This is NOT a luxury and comfort hotel. It is a retreat of healing, contemplation and silence. The name comes from "JAPO" for Japan and the influence it has on this project for its way of treating wood, the ceremonial, contemplation and "NEZA" in homage to the architect Nezahualcóyotl, the first Pre-Hispanic architect in Mexico. JAPONEZA retreat is a Mexican project with Japanese influence. Specifically in Tlaxcala, the project is divided into 2 houses; Casa Japoneza and Casa Nakamura. This ad corresponds only to "CASA NAKAMURA" which is inspired by the Japanese "Heyas" or "Stables" where fighters, warriors grew up and lived based on beliefs where the most important thing is the central inner part to meditate on the different gods, train, thank and honor the elements of nature such as the Sun, rain, thunder, air etc... The rooms are only for sleeping and appreciating the view and do not have the comforts of a Western hotel. In this case, the bathroom of each room is on the floor below, so if you are on the top floor you have to leave the room and re-enter on the ground floor. The fireplace and the tub are the most important amenities since with the hot water bath and the fireplace on we experience two of the most transcendental primary sensations such as water and fire. The important thing is the time for meditation and the immediacy with nature, the view and contemplation in a space that enjoys a very special geographical location. Casa Nakamura is a house of contemplation, meditation and silence. The houses DO NOT share amenities between them other than the central pool. The other house is called CASA JAPONEZA and consists of 4 rooms. It has another type of amenities such as an outdoor hot tub "Onsen", TV, giant swings and suspended nets. Without losing the Japanese Japanese, architecture and wood design. The house contains works of art and has a silk banner from the last century exemplifying a Naguinata fight with warrior women. Both houses have received important nominations as one of the best architecture in the world for 2021 by @archdaily and “Best Romantic Retreat 2022" by @mexbest The fauna and flora of the place is semi-desert and you will find coyotes, rattlesnakes, rabbits, horses, roadrunners, hawks and migratory birds such as ducks, herons among others. Food and beverage service is available at the retreat with an à la carte menu and seasonal specials. It will be an honor to have you at home!
