Farm Host stay in a Studio Train Carriage.

A 'farm host experience' staying in a 1950's train carriage that has been converted into a small apartment. The carriage is fully self contained with standard conveniences including aircon, microwave, dishwasher, oven and fridge. It is a stand alone unit with farm views, has an outdoor patio area with a pot belly stove and undercover parking 2.1m high. The farm produces beef and lamb and also has alpacas, chickens, a friendly dog and a cat. Guests are welcome to explore the 70 acre property. The space The property also has a 2 bedroom self contained apartment underneath the main house and a cottage which are also on AirBnb. All are pet friendly with suitable outdoor enclosures. Guest access Guests are welcome to walk around the farm to enjoy the open space with stock, pasture, trees, the Kororoit creek, a windmill, an airstrip and 2 dams. It is important that gates are left as found, either open or shut. Some fences have an electric wire on them. Other features include a 1945 Melbourne Tram, which is available to guests. Note the maximum height vehicle that can fit under the covered parking is 2.1 metres. Other things to note Choochoo1 is not the Grand Hyatt. It is old and not immaculate but functional, and priced accordingly. If you want something flash please don’t book it. Some people love it and others hate it. Some people love sitting in the patio with the fire burning and their pets alongside, and walking around the farm. There are no opening windows in the bedroom but it has aircon in the bedroom and kitchen. Being a farm occasionally mice get inside. There can be spiders and cobwebs. Being an old train the toilet is fairly small and that and the shower can be difficult to access for larger people. There is farm equipment and machinery in the area outside. Next door is Choochoo2 which is work in progress so there are fittings and equipment and junk outside it.
