MALOWINA Rainforest, a luscious place of tranquility, wonder and breathtaking beauty where guests deepen their love affair with nature and reconnect with their higher selves. Surrounded by the vibrant waters of the Taghkanic Creek and privately secluded on eight luscious acres in New York's Hudson Valley . MALOWINA is a lovingly peaceful environment where guests unplug from the modern digital world and immerse themselves in the serene harmonies of nature. The space MALOWINA was created as a covid project by Basquali for his wife Michelle and it's where they lived and rode out the pandemic with their two dogs and cat after closing their Brooklyn restaurant in 2020. MALOWINA is a place to sleep and swim, to write and read, to stretch and sketch, to walk barefooted in the wild, and dance naked in the woods. As a destination for peace and tranquility, it's also a place to do absolutely nothing except unwind. Guests fall asleep to the sound of the running creek at their doorstep, inspiring rest, relaxation, connectivity and creativity, the only distraction is the calming pulse of their heart's resting beat. Guest access MALOWINA Rainforest is situated at the end of a dead end road and are completely private. The nearest neighbors are half a mile away. Other things to note MALOWINA is for those with an adventurous spirit seeking to have an off the grid experience.There is no running water (apart from the creek) or electricity. There is no cell phone or internet reception at the property either, However, there is a compostable toilet in a private ventilated teepee tent and foot pump operated shower in a dedicated bathing tent. MALOWINA is for those who want to enjoying all the benefits of camping but don't want the hassle of putting up a tent and /or inflating a blow up mattress. MALOWINA Rainforest is home to deer, raccoon, coyote, bears, fox, groundhog, hawks, eagles, field mice, snakes, spiders, centipedes, flying insects, and chipmunks, in addition to 100 foot pines and oaks and so please take all this into account when considering whether or not this place is right for you and your partner/ friends No more than 4 guests. The base rate is for 2 guests. There is a $50 per person per night charge above 2 guests. Pets are welcome however there is a $25 pet fee per stay. Upon booking guest will be asked to supply email and home address in order for a short term rental agreement to be completed and emailed to them. This agreement is a simple form which covers all the basics just to make sure that everyone is on the same page and that there is no confusion or ambivalence regarding the dates, times, and property rules as well as an indemnity clause.
