With almost 1000 sq. ft. of cedar deck over 2 levels the the opportunities for enjoying the views and relaxing are limitless. Take in the beauty from the hot tub, sauna, hammock or multiple sitting areas on the decks or get closer to nature on the patio swing nestled in the trees. Our pet-free home spans across 3 levels. The top floor of our home is a private master retreat. The bedroom has a king size bed, sitting area and views of the lake. The large en-suite bathroom had his and hers sinks, a walk-in shower, soaker tub and a door that separates the toilet from rest of bathroom for privacy. The main floor includes the kitchen, dining area, living room with gas fireplace, games room (with basketball game and foosball table), full bathroom and laundry room. The upper deck is directly off the kitchen making it a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, a lounge or BBQ. The bottom level includes a room with a queen bed, another large bedroom with 2 queen beds as well as a full bathroom, large 2nd living room with a TV and a couch that can be used as a sleeping area. Access the bottom deck, hot tub, sauna, cold shower, outdoor dining area, fire-pit and patio swing from lower level. For the ADVENTUROUS and those wanting to escape the crowds of the main beach, a STEEP walk down to the lake is rewarded by awaiting kayaks and Adirondack chairs making it worth the effort (may not be suitable for young children and elderly; user assumes responsibility and risk). **Quiet residential neighbourhood - no excessive noise or loud music - monitored outdoor security surveillance on decks and driveway ** The entire house and decks. The home is in a private gated community with 24 hour security. There are other recreational activities available within a 10 minute walk such as a tennis court, golf course, library, playground and outdoor swimming pool. There is also a marina with kayak, canoe and paddle boards for rent as well as 2 beaches for the community. You are a 15 minute walk from the spa, restaurants, convenience store and quaint little shops. A 15 minute car ride will get you Barkley Square - 24 hour grocery store, movie theatre and restaurants. There is public transit available to take you into the city (15 minute walk to the bus stop). Don't forget your slippers/ socks/ flip flops as our home is a"shoe free zone" indoors! The kitchen has an extensive spice cabinet for guest use as well as condiments in the fridge that you may help yourself to. Since coffee is an integral part of our lake experience, there are 5 different types of coffee makers - Pod, Pour Over, French Press, AeroPress and of course drip! Checkout one of Washington's best mountain biking and hiking areas at nearby Galbraith mountain's extensive trail system. A winter visit should definitely include a ski day or 2 at beautiful Mount Baker - famous for having some of the best powder. Access to secluded beach with Adirondack chair, kayaks, a fire pit and the lake for swimming. It is a very steep grade from the house to the water. Owner assumes no responsibility if accessed. There are 2 community beaches nearby for those looking for a less adventurous more communal beach experience.
