Cosy 2 bed cabin in the trees, central location.

Wake up to birdsong and mountain views, you'll be able to meet lorikeets, rosellas, magpies, some cute tawny frog mouths if you're lucky. 10 minutes away from Wollongong central, 10 mins from botanic gardens, 12 mins from North Gong beach. We have a full kitchen and stock a basic pantry of ground beans for plunger coffee, a variety of teas, oil, spices & condiments. Towels and linen provided. No TV. Note: Second bedroom is detached from house with a set of stairs leading up to door. The space This is a spacious 2 bedroom open plan cottage in the quiet part of Figtree/Mount Keira close to the national park. We have a creek opposite that makes for a nice walk. KITCHEN You will have access to pots, pans, utensils etc to cook with, and an electric stove, oven, a microwave, kettle, and toaster. You will also have a dishwasher, plates, bowls, cutlery, wine glasses etc. We will provide a basic pantry with oil, some spices, tea and coffee. If you need anything special please let us know so we can see if it’s something we can help with. LIVING/DINING Open plan with kitchen. The window looks out to Mount Keira. Please note that we have chosen not to include a television but have some games available. BEDROOM 1 Located inside the house with built in wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps. Queen bed with Bed Threads linen. BEDROOM 2 Detached from house down a short set of stairs which are not covered. This room has a double bed with Bed Threads linen and a clothes rack. It has its own lock and sensor lights. BATHROOM/LAUNDRY Combined shower/bath, toilet, bathroom vanity and laundry sink. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and hairdryer available. We are eventually planning to get a washing machine so please let us know if this is a priority for you for a long term stay. OUTSIDE You have access to a side garden which we are doing up at the moment and includes a veggie patch which you are welcome to harvest from if anything is growing. We have a wrap around deck with a lounge and soon will have table and chairs to enjoy an alfresco meal in the sun. You can also access an outside clothes line if needed. NEIGHBOURS We live next door so you might see us and our dog, Eddie (who will be restricted by a fence). We are always happy to have an across the fence chat but also happy to leave you to your privacy. Our street is full of kind and friendly neighbours who will likely give you a wave. BABIES AND CHILDREN We welcome families and are able to provide a portacot, Tip Trapp high chair, some baby/toddler toys, etc on request and we have a bath. The house is not baby proofed- particularly outside- so we would encourage a very close eye on cheeky toddlers. There are also some very enticing indoor plants so if these are likely to be too tempting please let us know so we can consider moving them for you. This is a lovely area for families and there is a short bush walk and creek crossing to a playground and park.
