In Town 1849 Barndominium stand alone Guesthouse

Our 252 sq. ft. barndominium is in our 1800s post and beam barn. We divided a separate section for a 1 bedroom with refinished original barn floor and all new modern utilities. A short stroll (2 min) to the town of Kennebunk where we have many great restaurants, Wed. outdoor concerts at the park ,Sat .farmers market and crafts fair, and short drive to all the Kennebunk beaches .A town landing down the street with Mousam River access for canoeing or kayaking. The space Our 1849 Cape home ( we reside in)and separate barn : (your rental with parking and entrance ) is in town Kennebunk. The Barndominium offers a private cozy new 252 sq. ft. 1 bedroom . It's efficiency kitchen with mini fridge , 2 burner stovetop, microwave ,coffee pot and toaster. All the needs to prepare your meals. The bedroom has a new 50" smart TV and a private full bath. A double bed in living room as the sofa pulls out which we will have set up if requested. The private roomy exterior deck for coffee or cocktails.while listening to the soft sounds of the in town dam, and waterfowl .You have access to a small yard next to stairs for lounging.. No one else lives in the barn , storage above and large hallway separates it from our garage which houses a sports car only. Quiet and private! Guest access Guests park on lawn in front of stairs . A deck or the private lawn in front and below deck to the parking area is all yours to enjoy.. Walk around the corner to the public landing, many restaurants, stores and conveniences. Other things to note This is perfect for a couples retreat. If you are using the pull out sofa , please let us know as we will provide linens. And instructions or set it up .The tiny space does not allow room for play pens or bassinets and the inside or deck space is not child proofed! Please be aware of this prior to booking. We offer a Kennebunk 1 beach parking pass for your enjoyment to one of the 3 beaches 3.5 miles away..
