There is no bathroom and no shower inside this 1948 travel trailer at this time. You will be using the clean and private campground outdoor (hot) showers and charming compost and flush privies, all a very short walk. PLEASE READ ALL TO BE SURE IT WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU. That being said: The ad says East Congress but this is most definitely South Congress... Camp EZ in SxSouth Austin TX! (look for my other listings for tent camping options). 6 night maximum (a longer stay could be discussed during your stay) This 1948 Travelite trailer, "The Cowboys' Bunkhouse" has been rusticly restored with authentic barnwood, paneling, fixtures and Western memorabilia . It is about 285 sq.ft. and features a lovely vintage metal full size bed frame with a new memory foam mattress and all cotton sheets with a beautiful old quilt. There is also a full size futon couch that easily folds out to be a 2nd bed. The galley has a large old porcelain farmhouse sink, a 4 burner propane cooktop and a small refrigerator. A large bedroom hutch divides the "bedroom" from the rest of the space and it can be used to store your clothing and etc. There is a propane fireplace for Winter warmth and a new "mini-split" AC system for Summer coolness. Towel, washcloth and soap setup provided for your shower. Shower and toilet: There are none indoors at this time. You will be using the campground clean and private outdoor showers and charming compost and flush privies, all a short walk. Bunkhouse style. There are also 7+ other vintage travel trailers, some small cabins and a (tent) campground on site. Please pardon any re-modeling clutter and chaos you may see (always trying to make the place better and better). Access to shared camp kitchen, 3 deluxe compost and flush privys (a short walk) and 2 charming outdoor hot showers. Bus stop very close (ask for bus info.) (note: you may see a bug or two and/or a spider or spider web- please don't be upset, we live close to the garden and the earth here at Camp EZ and in central TX that's just how it is). This is a 75 year old trailer. There is some dust. Overall kept quite clean and always fresh sheets and towels etc. I have 2+ acres on a secret and secluded little street 5 miles due South of the capitol of TX and even closer (2.5) to the very hip SoCo area (Continental Club, Jo's Coffee, Guero's Taco Bar, and lots more). There are 4 cats, 8 chickens , 4 sweet mini goats and 2 donkeys here at my little and funky 'farmette' right on Williamson Creek (sometimes flowing but mostly not and not really swim-able) and next to a huge wooded greenbelt with a quiet and unused nature trails. Lots of remodeling and flood cleanup chaos here but also lots of pretty and secluded nature. Short walk to bus stop and and Austin Bergstrom Airport is 9 easy highway miles away. Rustic outdoor shower/kitchen/privy. No wild or excessive partying here please. This a “Free and Clear” zone. Please leave strong smelling colognes and soap at home.
