Lovely quiet base for two adults to discover Brabant and surroundings, including by bike. The houseboat is located in the Afgedamde Maas in Veen (N-Br). Near's-Hertogenbosch and Waalwijk, the historic towns of Heusden and Woudrichem and National Park de Biesbosch. For golf enthusiasts, the golf courses of De Haverleij ('s-Hertogenbosch), Almkreek (Almkerk) and Rosmalen are nearby. To be booked in May through September, minimum stay 1 week, arrival and departure Friday. The space On the aft deck of the boat, there is a dining table with 2 chairs. The back deck is enclosed by a deck tent. The kitchen is located in the "wheelhouse" and is full of comforts and fully equipped (including pans, glasses, fridge with small freezer compartment, electric oven, induction cooktop, air fryer, Senseo coffee machine and other kitchen appliances). In the cabin, there is a lovely lounge sofa and a spacious double box spring (1.80 x 2.00). There is a small bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink. The houseboat has two private terraces: a downstairs terrace with a picnic table and a round dining table with 4 chairs. An upstairs terrace with a round dining table with 4 chairs, a daybed, a hammock and a lounge sofa. There are two umbrellas provided, and there is a Weber BBQ. The terraces are fully enclosed and are right on the waterfront with a private jetty. There is a kayak for two people and a SUP by the boat. Plenty of cycling options from the location. Bicycles, including e-bikes, are available for rent in Wijk and Aalburg. Guest access The terraces, boat and jetty are located on private property and are fully accessible to guests. The grounds can be closed by a gate. The free and private parking space is located opposite the private property. Other things to note In Veen, Eetcafé 't Veen is a 5-minute walk away. Other restaurants are about a 20-minute drive away.
