The space Owl's Nest is a private, semi-wild camping area located near the village of Pustiana. The site is accessible by car (SUV recommended), with ample space to set up one or more tents. It's ideal for nature lovers looking to enjoy a peaceful night under the stars. Please note that guests are responsible for provisioning their own food, water, firewood, and other camping necessities. There are no toilet or bathroom facilities, and no electric power is available on site, offering a truly wild camping experience. However, a gas-fueled generator can be provided upon request for an additional cost of 50 lei per night. Additionally, there is a cattle farm nearby, so you may hear the sounds of farm animals during the night. The location is suitable for groups of up to 8 people and has no noise restrictions, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural surroundings. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire camping area, which can be reached by car (SUV recommended), allowing them to explore, set up tents, and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty at their leisure. Other things to note Nearby attractions: Guests can enjoy exploring the nearby meadow, which offers a peaceful natural setting for walks and relaxation. The charming village of Pustiana is also close by, providing a glimpse into local life. For those interested in fishing, the nearby river offers opportunities for amateur-level fishing, adding to the outdoor experience. Wild life: While enjoying your stay at Owl's Nest, you may encounter various wildlife, including boars, deer, foxes, and even some wild, cute bunnies. We recommend being mindful of your surroundings and storing food securely to avoid attracting animals. This adds to the authentic wilderness experience, but please exercise caution and respect for the local wildlife. Fire safety: There is no designated fire pit at Owl's Nest, giving guests the unique opportunity to build their own fireplace in the wild. However, it's important to remember that guests are responsible for ensuring their fire does not harm the surrounding nature. Please take all necessary precautions to keep the fire under control and fully extinguish it before leaving the site or going to sleep. Weather Considerations: The weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing appropriate gear for varying conditions, including rain and cold. Booking and Availability Owl's Nest is most enjoyable during the summer months, but it is open year-round for those who enjoy the challenge of winter camping. Please note that while the site may appear available on Airbnb, we will conduct a final check of the location before fully accepting your booking. This is necessary to ensure that the wild conditions are suitable for your stay and that everything is in order for a safe and enjoyable experience. Eco-Friendly Practices At Owl's Nest, we encourage our guests to embrace eco-friendly practices during their stay. Please pack out all trash and leave no trace to help preserve the natural beauty of the area. We also recommend using biodegradable soaps and detergents if you plan to wash dishes or yourself. By respecting the environment, you contribute to the sustainability of this wild camping experience, ensuring that future guests can enjoy it just as much as you do. Pets Pets are welcome at Owl's Nest, but please keep in mind that this is a wild and natural environment. We recommend keeping pets under close supervision at all times to ensure their safety and the safety of the local wildlife. It’s also important to clean up after your pets and ensure they don’t disturb the natural surroundings. If your pet is not accustomed to being in a wild setting, consider whether this environment is suitable for them. Additional Services Based on availability, we can provide a gas-fueled electricity generator for those who need it. The generator is available for an additional cost of 50 RON per night. However, for a full wild experience and for environmental reasons, we do not recommend using the generator. It can also be quite noisy, which might detract from the peaceful natural surroundings.
