Situated on a picturesque 100 acres ,which was originally a pine tree plantation. Some pines still remain and we often get visitors such as The Black Cockatoos. The space This exclusive and secluded retreat is now available for holiday rental. As you arrive down the tree lined driveway, you can swap the city sounds for peace and tranquillity. It’s a chance to relax, eat, sleep, read and absorb the stunning hill views. Ideal for families, couples, corporate retreats, yoga groups, equine & wildlife enthusiasts. This four bedroom eco off-grid cottage will comfortably accommodate 9 guests. Our guests will have the opportunity to meet our permanent residents. This includes miniature ponies ‘Cricket’, ‘Leroy’ and ‘Scout’. We also have two friendly goats ‘George 1V and ‘Buddy’. Freshly laid eggs are available for you to gather each day. The property features an abundance of wildlife and you are welcome to explore the 100 acres including native bushland. Enjoy features such as the outdoor fire pit, watch the sun set and then admire the stars, which I must say on a clear night are absolutely amazing. Head up to ‘Chardonnay Hill’, relax at the table and enjoy your cheese platter with the best views of the valley and the mountains with the most glorious sunsets you will ever see. Location & Local attractions One of the highlights of this area is the Wilson River It’s located only minutes away and is popular for its beautiful swimming holes and fishing. Bago Maze & Winery –45 minute drive Maze - Wander, run and get lost in Bago Maze. A stunning architecturally designed native Lilly Pilly hedge maze. It’s one of the world’s largest hedge mazes with over 2000m of pathways, bridges and hedges, making it the perfect place for the family to explore. Winery - Bago is a working vineyard and winery, they grow all of their own grapes and produce all wine on site. You can enjoy a wine tasting in our Cellar Door, or enjoy a local cheese and meat platter while over looking the beautiful vineyard. Timbertown – 35 minute drive Since 1976 Timbertown has been a living depiction of a sawmiller's village, demonstrating the struggles and achievements of the Australian timber getters. Timbertown is a recreation to demonstrate everyday life 100 years ago. Step back in time Entry includes Steam train journey, Heritage rides and demonstrations and every day offers a unique experience at Timbertown Heritage Park. There’s even a winery In the village that has a great range of ports , wines and beverages alongside quirky and unusual gifts and wooden products.
