Based in the heart of the historic and thriving tourist town of Melrose, Jessie’s is one of the oldest traditional stone homes in the area. Enjoy the ambience of old, mixed with modern conveniences. Jessie’s is an enchanting home nestled amongst the towering river red-gums that line the banks of the nearby Willochra Creek. It’s a stylish heritage home with its beautiful period details and lofty ceilings. There are four spacious bedrooms, one queen and three doubles that lead into one another. There is a cot for the little ones and a sofa bed if required. Wander through the magical garden that will lead you down many meandering paths. Take the steps down to the creek where you can skip stones, catch tadpoles or jump on one of the many biking or walking trails Melrose has to offer. When the season is right, eat straight from the fruit trees in the backyard or simply wander the garden and enjoy its delightful scents and smells. At the day’s end enjoy a refreshing drink on the porch and soak in the last light of the day. You’ll find something for everyone to enjoy at Jessie’s and we are thrilled to be able to share this beautiful space with you. Family amenities include high chair, cot, stroller and more. Guest access Depending on the number of guests you’ll have access to the rooms according to the booking number. Please discuss your bedding needs with us prior to arrival. You will have full access to the charming garden and nearby creek and trails. Other things to note You wont be the only residents at Jessie's. If you pop out into the garden by the shed, you will find 3 lovely ladies working hard to lay you some fresh eggs for breakfast. Our hens are very friendly and love your leftovers, so don't be afraid to share. You'll find a bucket for food scraps under the sink.
