Moose Meadow: Mountain view, creekside, w/ hot tub

Welcome to Moose Meadow! Our 1bed(+)/2bath home has a hot tub that overlooks mountains & a creek that flows through our property. Wood burning stove and a fire place bring all the AK charm inside. Basement can act as 2nd bedroom with pullout couch, floor mattress, and/or large air mattress Full kitchen and bathroom amenities; laundry capabilities. Located centrally in Eagle River, AK; 8 mins to the E.R. Nature Center; 10 to downtown E.R.; 20 to downtown Anchorage & 30 to Airport The space This is our single family home tucked off a primary road in a wooded area. Gravel driveway (on a hill) to the private, secluded property. Driveway can be tricky in the winter or rainy seasons if you do not have 4-wheel drive Guest access Self check-in. Access to all main areas of the house: kitchen, basement, 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, deck, and backyard. (The garage will be locked for security reasons and additional bedrooms will be inaccessible, as this is our primary residence and the master bedroom will be locked.) Other things to note With the open floor plan in our home, we are happy to host additional guests. We have extra mattresses and air mattresses that can accommodate an additional 6-10 people. Camping in the yard or on the deck is permitted as well. Please note: This is our primary residence. We travel frequently and offer to share our home as a rental while we are away. The garage and a bedroom will be locked/blocked off as that is where we keep individual belongings during our rentals. We remove most personalized touches from our house’s decor so your stay is more akin to a private getaway in a vacation home, but we like to make guests aware that they are staying in our primary place of residence.
