The space Welcome to our tranquil & picturesque barn nestled away on the outskirts of Ashdown forest 'The home of winnie the pooh'. The Barn was renovated recently to provide an ECO property of the upmost standard. LIVING SPACE Upon entry you will find yourself in the open and bright living, kitchen & dining space. With large chapel like windows allowing in floods of light. Put your culinary skills to use in our large, well equipped kitchen, with all you need for making extravagant dinners, or turning your hand to baking some goodies. There is a separate toilet & sink situated here. On the upper mezzanine level you will find the first bedroom. - Wood burner - 2 Large & extremely comfy sofa's - Sonos sound system - TV & board games - Large dining table with 6 chairs - Fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils needed for cooking & baking. - Commercial grade oven BEDROOM 1 Just off the living space, there is a short staircase that leads you to the mezzanine level bedroom. This bedroom can be set as a twin room or superking. - Luxury bed linen - Drawer space for storage - Bedside lamps BEDROOM 2 At the opposite side of the living area you will find the second bedroom in the property. This has a kingsize bed, large drawers and a wardrobe with hangers. - Luxury bed linen - Garden views - Bathroom situated in the next room - Portable heater - Hairdyer BATHROOM Whilst we have a small toilet area in the main living space, our main bathroom is positioned in the next room along after bedroom 2. In this space you will find the most luxurious bathtub, to sit and relax in after a day exploring. Our walk in power shower offers a choice of two heads. An overhead shower or a handheld shower for body use only. - Shower gel & bath soak provided - Towels Provided - Underfloor heating - Garden views - Vintage sink GARDEN Sit and stargaze, enjoy a bbq or relax with your morning coffee and the birds & butterflies in our pretty and abundant garden. Please note whilst the garden is private, it is not fully enclosed as there is no gate. For those with dogs it is suggested they be kept on a lead whilst in the garden. Ashdown forest is moments away from the house for lots of long walks where dogs can roam freely. - BBQ - Outdoor sofa - Outdoor table and chairs with canopy - Fresh mint & herbs available to use - Perfect spot for star gazing ASHDOWN FOREST We are located only a few steps away from the famous Ashdown Forest, the home of Winnnie the Pooh. It's a site of special scientific interest with special protections for it's habitats and wildlife. Simply walk around the back of the property and you are within this beautiful forest. Perfect for dogs, or a stroll with a visit to many amazing countryside pubs close by. THE VILLAGE - FOREST ROW Located a 10 minute walk to Forest row village. Within the village you will find a host of lovely places to eat and shop. With a small Co-op, tesco and a large organic shop where you will find a selection of local goodies such as organic chocolate, cheese and daily freshly baked goods! We are also home to a fresh fish mongers, that Jamie Oliver states is one of the best in the UK given most of the fish is line caught within the UK. We also have two incredible biodynamic farms that offer fresh fruits & vegetables, meats and raw dairy. Guest access Full access to all parts of the entire building. - Private Garden - Designated car park spot in driveway - Washing machine Accessible - Fast wifi private use - Dishwasher accessible Other things to note Please not the barn is not a party house by any means. We ask that you respect the neighbours peace & tranquility. We ask no loud music is played after 10pm, and any social gatherings are brought indoors at 10pm also. The main bathroom is accessible through between bedroom 1, there is a separate WC and handbasin under the stairs to bedroom 2. Bedroom 1 offers a King size bed and bedroom 2 on the mezzanine boasts a super king. Whilst nestled away by Ashdown Forest, we are also positioned close to the A22. This makes getting around very easy, however traffic noise can be heard in rush hour. CLEANING & SANITATION Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance.
