Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Stroll or drive to the beach where you can swim, fish, the kids can play, the dog can run! Take an evening walk to the end of the street, or beyond, to see the beautiful kangaroos of Preston Beach. Enjoy the family-friendly home with all amenities, including outdoor fish-cleaning sink, BBQ, and garden brazier for a warm chat around the fire. The local general store has home-made bread in the mornings and a reputation for great burgers! The space The main bedroom is spacious with a Queen bed and has a large walk-in robe. The second bedroom has a built-in robe and 2 single beds. The third room contains 2 single beds that can be pushed together to make a large QS, bed. This room also contains a built-in robe with KS doona in case needed. The dining table fits 8 people and the double sliding glass doors give access to the outside patio and lawn area. The main bathroom contains shower, toilet and hand-basin. The separate second toilet, accessed through the laundry also contains a shower. There is an outside shower (with hot water) for rinsing off after a swim. For those who catch fish, there is a cleaning station at the side of the house for this purpose! There is a fire-brazier under the big peppermint tree and a waterproof box with fire-lighters, kindling and wood. The BBQ is kept in the entrance portico and can be wheeled to a more social cooking spot if desired! Two cars will fit under the large carport. The laundry has it's own door to the under-cover clothesline at the back of the house. Guest access The front door to the ground-storey is at the top of the stairs leading up from the driveway. For those needing easier access, it can also be accessed via a short slope. The gardens can all be accessed by guests. The upper storey is occupied on occasion by the owner, but is mostly vacant when guests are present below. The internal access to the upper storey is locked but can be accessed by the owner via an external rear entrance. There is a separate single garage with roller door that is not available for guests. Guests may park in the carport on the property. Other things to note Please feel free to pick lemons and limes from the trees in the front yard! Please keep pets confined to the property and off the furniture/beds. Please keep the gate closed at all times to keep your pet enclosed and to prevent the kangaroos entering and becoming trapped.
