Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a tiny house on a farm? Well, here is your chance! We welcome you to come stay in our custom made tiny home on our little hobby farm featuring views of the Columbia River and valley below. Feed the farm animals treats, enjoy an evening star gazing, or if it’s rainy hang out inside and watch a movie. This tiny home is on an active small family hobby farm and near a house we are building, so please read the full listing for information. 180 square feet seems small, but the tiny house is designed to maximize space. The unique thing about our tiny home is there is no lofted sleeping space. That means you don’t have to climb up on a ladder to head to bed.. everything is on one level! The kitchen is well equip for cooking and large in tiny home standards. The outdoor space includes a small yard and fantastic views with a covered seating area. Another thing that sets us apart from other stays, We do not charge a cleaning fee and we don't leave you a chore list for checkout. This is a homestead in process, We are always in different stages of development and building and some times are quieter than others, if you want to know what stages we will potentially be in during your stay please ask. You will have access to the whole tiny house as well as our outdoor seating area and small yard around the tiny house. To access the tiny house, there is a gravel parking area and gravel walkway to the tiny house with steps up to the tiny house. We kindly ask guests to please stay out of the building areas and fenced pasture areas. Though we are around on the property doing farm chores and working at the building site we are happy to give our guests space. We will give a wave and say hello so If you would like to chat please feel free to keep on chatting but besides the friendly wave and quick hello we will leave interactions up to you. The tiny house is located in the country 4 miles outside of west Longview up a rustic dirt road on a farm overlooking the Columbia River. We are 13 miles from I-5 . 4 miles from town, 1/2 mile up a dirt road from SR-4. Please be aware that this is a private country road that goes up through the woods and farm area, if you plan to arrive at night it will be a very dark drive up. The parking area is gravel and The path to the tiny house is gravel with steps up to the tiny house. I do give very detailed directions, but it is a very dark drive through the woods. We are not a quick stop right off of 1-5 unfortunately, you do have to go through or around town and up a rustic road to get here. But the views are great and the company (the animals) is always happy to see you. We are located in the county away from any bus lines, and we are a few miles out of town, so i would recommend having a vehicle to get around. Since we are up a gravel road having a bike for transportation is not ideal. The parking area is gravel and sloped and the path to the tiny house is gravel. Longview does have a taxi service and Uber but I would recommend having a vehicle if you plan to stay here as we are in the country out of town. Since we are a small family farm developing this homestead there will be various levels of work being done during your stay. Some times it is completely quiet and others there is more going on but we do our best to give our guests a peaceful stay. The general time frame to expect us around on the build site is anytime from 9am-6:30pm. We love having guests and giving them the experience of this unique space to stay.
