Peaceful cottage near Exeter, sleeps up to 4, B&B

This charming 17 century traditional thatched cottage has 2 comfortable double guest rooms with private bathroom. A generous continental breakfast is provided at a time to suit you. There is a pretty garden and secure off-road parking. The peaceful hamlet is a short walk from Thorverton with two friendly pubs and a farm shop. The Agricultural Inn in Brampford Speke, 5 mins drive, is a popular place to eat. Exeter, 15 mins away, is a historic Cathedral city with a good choice of restaurants. The space Well Cottage has a double and a twin bedroom available, and a private guest bathroom. I only take one booking at a time as there is only one guest bathroom which both bedrooms share. If you just book one room, you'll have sole use of the bathroom. Please let me know which configuration you would like to book via direct message. Either the double or the twin, or both. Breakfast consists of: - cereals, muesli, granola, Greek yoghurt and fresh fruit compote - toast, croissants, homemade jam and marmalade - orange juice + tea or coffee - eaten in peace and quiet in the dining room I’d love to welcome you to this 17th century thatched cottage, which is in a quiet country lane just fifteen minutes from Exeter. It's an ideal peaceful retreat from the city; the traffic along the lane is just as likely to be walkers, cyclists or horses as it is to be cars. Fully renovated, the cottage is warm and comfortable. Well Cottage is within walking distance of Thorverton, a pretty village with two lively pubs, and less than two miles from Brampford Speke where there is a very good gastro pub. Exeter is a small, accessible city of historic interest and charm, with plenty to see and do. There are endless lovely country walks from our front door and Exmoor and Dartmoor are both within easy reach by car. The market towns of Tiverton and Crediton are nearby, as is the interesting old town of Topsham on the Exe estuary. There is secure off-road parking at the back of the house. Guests are welcome to make themselves at home in the garden: it's big enough for children to run around, and peaceful enough in which to sit and read a book. Feel free to do either (or both). Guest access Guests will have access to their bedrooms & private bathroom. Also very welcome to relax in the garden too. Cooking facilities are not available, however; I assume guests will be going out for their evening meal. During your stay As this is my home, I'll be around but I appreciate it's your holiday and will give you as much privacy as you would like. If you need it, I'll give you all the help I can with recommendations of what to see and do in the area, and where to eat.
