Newly Remolded Studio is located in Meadows building, very short walk to Kirkwood Village & main mountain access (Chairs 6/5/10/11/1). Private covered parking with elevator access. Only condo building with a hot tub PLUS wood fireplace, deck with mountain views, full size kitchen, high speed T1 line WIFI, high-quality king bed, couch that folds out, ski locker, waxing station & cross-country skiing trails out the door. Also a communal BBQ, open great room & coin-operated laundry facilities. The space It's one of the only units at Kirkwood to have everything. The Luxury Meadows Studio comes with a full size kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, free firewood, WIFI, high-quality King bed & couch, ski locker, hot tub (hot tub is open when resort is open), covered underground parking with elevator access, deck with mountain views, HBO/Netflix/Prime access and. In the unit you will find a rustic wood inspired design with brand new amenities all around. Also included is access to a communal gas burning grill (always stocked), coin-operated laundry facilities, a large great room with two-sided fireplace, large tables and super comfy chairs to relax in...perfect for entertaining guests. The studio is about 220 yards to the Kirkwood Village and main mountain access, a short walk to the lifts and you can ski-in right to the front door of the building from chair 6 or chair 7. There are also groomed cross-country skiing trails right out the back door of the building. The free Kirkwood shuttle picks up in front of the building giving you transport to the Kirkwood General Store, Kirkwood Village and Timber Creek, the beginner learning area (chair 7 and Bunny lift). Early/Late check in/out policy: When we can accommodate, an early or late check out can be made available for a $50 fee. The reason we charge this fee is because Kirkwood has the highest utility costs in the country. Explanation of $120 cleaning fee: I had a guest complain about it so I thought I would explain the details behind the cost. I actually pay the cleaner $140 per clean because of the remote location of the unit, 45 minute drive from the nearest town, where most locals live. Due to the remote location it is hard to find reliable folks, so when you do, you pay them fair wages! So just FYI, I eat $20 each time the unit is cleaned to make sure it is done right and ready to go when guests arrive. * please note that we do not give refunds due to inclement weather or road conditions… Kirkwood is a very remote place and if you’re not prepared to travel in the snow, do not book our unit! Guest access You can access the entire building, parking area, hot tub (Only open when the resort is open), stocked firewood, ski locker room, washer & dryer facilities and anywhere on the property that is a common area. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: Radiant heat to the building will be shut off during the spring and summer months. Your heat source is the wood burning fireplace and individual stand up heaters. All wood is stocked and supplied as well as Firestarter's. *IMPORTANT* Please fully read our Cancellation Policy prior to booking. We stand by our Cancellation Policy. Kirkwood is a mountain town and gets a large amount of snow. Please be prepared to travel during inclement weather.
