Stargazer Hattie

Schlamping is the new glamping at our Norfolk estate. We now have two luxury Stargazer bell tents to accompany our three Shepherd Huts located behind Godwick Hall, each boasting unspoilt views. Close to nature, rustic but with modern facilities, this is refined camping at it's best. Each glamping luxury stargazer tent comes with private toilet next door to the tent plus shared camp kitchen and showers. The space This may well be off-grid camping at its most refined – you’ll stay in a spacious and well-appointed Lotus Belle stargazer tent set up in the meadows to the north of Godwick Hall. The tent’s name refers to the fact that you can open up the canopy to look up at the stars while still staying comfy and cosy in your bed: how fabulous is that? That bed is, of course, a luxurious superking with top-notch bed linen – and there are a couple of camp beds for the kids if you’re planning a family adventure here. Please book these in advance so they are set up for your arrival. Other facilities in the tent include a woodburning stove, a table and chairs, a dressing mirror, solar lighting and a selection of smart furniture designed to make the place feel like home. Outside, each tent has a mini firepit and private toilet facilities housed within a smart little potting shed. Shared facilities close by include showers and a camp kitchen kitted out with a gas stove, kettle, toaster and mobile cool box (plus hairdryers to help you get dolled up for a night out). Guest access Access is confined to a large fenced camp area - each tent has it's own outside picnic table, small firepit and two deck chairs for lounging around outside. The camp kitchen is a very short walk, which also has a picnic table if you wanted to eat there instead. The camp showers consist of two shower berths ina converted trailer. BBQ can be hired, welcome breakfast hampers can be booked. Parking is outside the fenced camp area in the same area as parking for the Shepherd Huts. Other things to note Please note Godwick Great Barn wedding venue is a five minurte walk from the accommodation at Godwick. A wedding could be taking place during your stay. We have had people stay on site in the shepherd's huts whilst weddings having been taking place for the past seven years and nobody has complained, but if you wanted to avoid a wedding, then please ask whether one is taking place before you book.
