There is something for everyone without having to get into a car as this property truly offers you everything you need for your getaway. Designed by a San Francisco based teacher/artist couple, La Bohéme is work and school friendly with blazing fast internet and two separate desks with tools for productivity and classes. When not working or in virtual school, there are multiple Smart TV’s with hundreds of free streaming channels and you can bring your own accounts for Netflix, Hulu, etc. (no cable). And for those on the quieter side we also have a bookshelf with ‘Take a Book, Leave a Book’! This unique home is situated in a few acres for privacy and has two bedrooms with a pull-out sofa, modern amenities and radiant heating! Also, a well stocked kitchen with NutriBullet, Instapot to name a few… and most spices to cook a yummy meal to serve inside or in the outdoor dining area. Walking distance to town - shastice park is across the street - in the winter there is an ice skating rink. Downtown is about mile away. Know Before You Book: Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy is 4 people. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time. Parking: The parking garage has space for 3 cars; with 2-3 more along the driveway. Please do not park on the street. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited Bed Sizes: First bedroom: King bed; Second bedroom: Queen bed Heat Source: This home has central heat in addition to a wood stove in the living room. Firewood is not provided, but you may use any left at the property. Road to La Bohéme: The house is located at the end of a secluded road in a residential area. The property is in the city of Mount Shasta on a fully paved road; no special vehicle is required. We provide detailed written driving directions to confirmed guests. Fencing: The property is a few acres and is not fenced; so please keep your dogs on leash Security Cameras: For the safety of guests and the home, there are two security cameras outside - facing the parking and the backside of the property.
