Adventure Riverfront Yurt 8

An experience you will not forget! Enjoy floating down the river in our mile of private waters, soak in the hot tub, hike nearby trails, or grab a cup of coffee and relax in your yurt, rejuvenating your mind, body, and spirit. Our XL yurt is spacious for multiple couples to add adventure and romance to their stay. The space Brown Mountain Beach Adventure Resort is a small family-owned business bordering the Pisgah National Forest on Wilson Creek. The resort has a rich history, with some structures dating back to the early 1900s. There are six cabins and ten yurts on the property that are all uniquely designed. Our XL Yurts are our newest addition! Head to our website to tour them all! While you are there, check out our BMBAR Menu and Creekside Conservation Cafe's offerings too!! Check-in starts at 3 pm, and check-out is at 11 am. If you would like different check-in/check-out times, let us know, and we will see if it is available; both cost an additional $50. There is no WiFi in the cabin or yurts, but WiFi is in common areas around the resort. There are no TVs on the property. Here at Brown Mt. Beach Adventure Resort, we encourage adventure and relaxation from our busy lives. So bring a book or grab a canoe, unplug and enjoy! Let Wilson Creek entertain you year-round!! There is no cell service; however, using WiFi on the grounds, you can enable WiFi calling on your cell phone when you need it!! We also have several landlines you can use, AND our staff is always on-site! Yurt 8 is one of our XL yurts and sits directly on the creek! Yurt 8 has one queen downstairs, one queen upstairs, and one futon downstairs. Each bed has privacy curtains that will surround the bed!! Please let us know if you need a sheet/pillow set for the futon. Yurt 8 has a kitchenette with essential dishes and utensils, pots and pans, a refrigerator, and a microwave. There is a Regular drip coffee maker and some complimentary coffee, but don't forget we sell specialty coffees in the cafe. In addition, you have a gas grill, a flat-top grill, and a hot tub overlooking the creek on the deck. The only disposables we provide are toilet paper, bath soap, hand soap, and dish soap. Guest access You have access to the grounds, a 40-foot swimming hole, and a mile stretch of private waterfront for fishing. Be sure to bring your fishing gear and license! Kayaks, paddleboards, tubes, and canoes are available for you to use on BMBAR property during your stay. Other things to note Brown Mountain Beach Adventure Resort borders the Pisgah National Forest. You have access to the grounds, a 40-foot swimming hole, and a mile stretch of private waterfront for fishing. Kayaks, paddleboards, tubes, and canoes are available for you to use on BMBAR property during your stay. We ask you to put them up when you are not using them and to please do not drag them. You will lose cell service 10 minutes before arrival. There is no reception at the resort; please keep that in mind. The resort is gated. If you are unable to arrive during check-in hours you will need to arrange a self-check-in. WiFi is located around the Rock Pavilion area and deck. You can access WiFi while enjoying a stunning view of the gorge! There is no WiFi in individual cabins and yurts. We welcome pets with a $25 pet fee. However, we ask that you keep them on a leash and pick and dispose of all pet waste properly. If you have a pet, please submit a request without payment and let us know so we can add the pet fee to your total. All spaces have a fire pit. We provide wood for your fire pit. Be sure to bring what you require for the fire starter. The grills are gas, and propane is provided. Check-in starts at 3 pm, and check-out is at 11 am. If you would like to check in early or late, please let us know, and we will check to see if it is available. It is an additional 50 dollars for each.
