Villa Piovene Porto Godi welcomes us on the hill of Lonedo di Lugo di Vicenza. This Venetian Villa of the Cinquecento was introduced in 1996 along with the other Palladian villas of Veneto on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Behind it are the Vicenza mountains that are ideal for excursions, but the location is also strategic as a starting point for quickly reaching the most important large and small cities, the mountains, the sea and the lakes of Veneto. The space The apartment has just been renovated and combines all the modern comfort with the ancient charm of the Palladian villas. It consists of a modern kitchen - entrance with dining corner for four people. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to stay. The modern bathroom has a shower, sink, and bidet. The bedroom is furnished in classic modern style with comfy double bed, bedside tables and four-door closet. The jewel of the apartment is the large old service kitchen of the villa with its imposing fireplace. Today it serves this living room in the apartment. Guest access The apartment is reached in the back of the villa through a small external staircase. From the living room you have direct access to one of the boat arcades with its Doric columns. Here you have the opportunity to have an aperitif after your excursions and admire the wonderful view of the garden of the villa with its statues, the staircase and the sumptuous gate in wrought iron. Other things to note You can also enjoy a sip of prosecco from the Villa Piovene cellar at the back of the villa overlooking the beautiful vineyard of the priest that was once used to produce the holy wine for the masses in the church of the villa.
