Villa Piovene Porto Godi welcomes us on the hill of Lonedo di Lugo di Vicenza. This 16th-century Venetian Villa was included in 1996, together with the other Palladian villas of the Veneto region, in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Behind it are the Vicenza mountains, which are ideal for excursions, but the location is also strategic as a starting point to quickly reach the most important large and small cities, the mountains, the sea and the lakes of the Veneto region. The space The apartment has just been renovated and combines all modern comforts with the antique charm of Palladian villas. It consists of a modern kitchen - entrance with dining area for four people. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The modern bathroom has a shower, sink and bidet. The bedroom is furnished in a classic modern style with a comfortable double bed, bedside tables and a four-door wardrobe. The jewel of the apartment is the large old service kitchen of the villa with its imposing fireplace. Today this room serves as the living room of the apartment. Guest access The apartment is reached at the back of the villa through a small external staircase. From the living room you have direct access to one of the arcades of the barchesse with its Doric columns. Here you have the opportunity to have an aperitif after your excursions and admire the wonderful view of the villa's garden with its statues, the staircase and the sumptuous wrought iron gate. Other things to note You can also enjoy a sip of prosecco from the Villa Piovene winery at the back of the villa overlooking the beautiful vineyard of the priest who once used it to produce the holy wine for the masses in the small church of the villa.
