Yurt in Estalagem Nova

Beautiful traditional Mongolian yurt in a forest. Rustic facilities, shared kitchen, shower and compost toilet. Glorious view over the Carrascalinho countryside. Car parking is a short walk from the yurt. Ultimate peace and quiet. An idyllic location in the Western Algarve, 15 minutes drive from the wild beaches of Rogil. The beautiful Odeceixe beach is a 25 minute drive, and a 30 minute drive are the highly regarded surf beaches Arrifana and Monte Clerigo. There are dogs living on the land. The space The yurt is situated in a valley beside a forest. The kitchen shower and toilets are nearby in the forest. There is plenty of space to wander freely. I have bikes you can rent if you don’t have a car. This is rustic accommodation, there may be some spiders living their life in the yurt. I try to keep it as clean as possible, but it’s inevitable that in a forest structure the nature will creep in. The kitchen is semi open and there is some dust from the trees that may be found on the cups and plates. There are also other people using the kitchen toilet and shower, and sometimes they might not clean up as well as I would like. Please, if you see anything which displeases you talk to me and I will do my very best to sort it out immediately. There is a new induction cooker which I leave unplugged when not in use. This is because it makes a buzzing sound when it’s left plugged in. It has a child lock which you press and hold for 3 seconds. Our dogs are usually really quiet in the night, sometimes they might bark if they are chasing off a wild boar. The dogs will come and check you out as you arrive but they are all friendly, you are safe to get out of the car! If there is anything missing, like toilet paper or sawdust for the compost toilet, please let me know so I can get more. Other things to note The price is for 2 people normally. You can bring children under 10 for free. Anyone over 10 is an extra €15 per night. The yurt can sleep up to 6 with floor mattresses provided.
