Dragonfly Villa #5 Heated saltwater pool age 19+

Dragonfly Villa is an adults-only (ages 19+), restored villa on the bank of the Mismaloya River with 7 private, self contained suites co-located in 2 buildings surrounded by lush gardens, and a heated pristine pool area and the peacefulness of the neighboring jungle. The villa is located across the river from the town of Mismaloya, a 10-minute walk to the beach and 20 minutes by road from Puerto Vallarta. You will find everything you want or need while still enjoying a quiet, restful stay. The space The San Sebastian Suite is is located inside the main house and features a separate bedroom with king-sized bed, kitchen, flat-screen tv, futon couch, air-conditioning, several opening windows with blinds for privacy and ceiling fan to ensure your comfort. The suite looks into the treetops of the courtyards, and pool below and is very private. With coffee, tea and potable water provided. Enjoy days pool-side listening to the river, birds, our neighbour's animals and the chuffing of the lion in the local zoo. Stroll down to the local beach to swim in the small bay, relax with a sea-side massage or enjoy the ocean-front lounge chairs available at beach-side restaurants. The more adventurous may wish to explore the area by horseback, go on a 4-wheeler tour, visit the local zoo, try tequila tasting, see the area made famous by the Terminator movies or venture up the river for zip-lining and swimming holes. The botanical gardens are a short drive from Mismaloya. Puerto Vallarta is easily accessible by road (20 minutes) and has all of the amenities of a larger city. Day-trips to surrounding towns are easy to arrange from our central, but somewhat off the beaten path location. Guest access You will be provided keys to the entrance gate and your suite upon arrival and can enter and leave as you wish. We ask that you take care to secure your keys as they are difficult and costly to replace. While each suite is private and secured by it's own individual lock, the home’s main living spaces are occupied by the owners and care-givers, who are available to answer any questions you may have. We welcome guests to use any of the common spaces - gardens, courtyards, outdoor dining area and pool for eating, lounging, resting or socializing. Our friendly dogs help to keep the property secure, and you may run into them occasionally. Other things to note Dragonfly Villa is best suited for those travelling alone, friends and couples. WE DO NOT ALLOW GUESTS UNDER THE AGE OF 19. There is a $5 a day charge if you require A/C controller and an extra charge for excessive A/C use. We ask that reasonable quiet be maintained on the grounds from 11pm-7am and suggest that those visiting Mexico for a more lively experience please consider other listings. There is strictly no smoking on the grounds for the comfort of all guests. There are 3 or 4 small shops in Mismaloya that sell basic food, alcohol and hygiene products. Both the beach and the townsite have several restaurants. They typically close around sunset, so hours vary according to season. There is no doctor, pharmacy or hospital in Mismaloya – these services are available in central Puerto Vallarta. Water Taxi is available on the beach in Mismaloya to the towns south, accessible only by water. Due to the constraints of our location we regret that our home is not suitable for those with significant mobility issues.
