A secured gated passage, next to your parking space, will take you in to a private courtyard. The private exterior staircase is on the right and leads up to the apartment. With a generously southern exposure you can enjoy the natural light flooding through the picture window in the living area. You will feel the immediate warmth of the space as the light reflects off the shiplap ceilings. A comfy couch, ottoman and double thick carpet invite you to sink in to the space. A 55” tv with streaming technology will allow you to relax in style. Grab a soft and comfy blanket from the basket next to the window and you are all set. The fully stocked kitchen and generously sized fridge occupy the space under one of the dormers. The capable range oven with microwave hood will give you cooking flexibility. A small window over the sink captures the rustling of a mature bamboo which anchors the shared courtyard. A custom tile walk-in shower and floating vanity accompany the bathroom. Hidden behind folding doors are a full size washer/dryer and large closet which together frame the entry to the apartment. Immediately upon entry you will see the cozy sleeping nook. It has soft lighting, queen size bed and another 40” tv perfect for in bed lounging. Two small shelves flank the bed and give you the perfect spot to charge and rest your phone for the night. A mini-split heating and cooling unit is controlled by remote and will allow you to set the climate to match the season keeping the space comfortable all year long. The apartment sits just off one of Oak Harbor’s original north/south streets. A short 5-10 minute walk will have you on Pioneer Way (historic downtown) with lots of options for strolling, dining or shopping. This also will take you right into Windjammer Park where you can explore Oak Harbor’s waterfront and marina.
