It has one of the best private beaches in our area year after year and a newly built private lakefront pool and a hot tub - it is a premier lakefront pool house with all the accouterments you could hope for! Sitting along the edge of Lake Michigan, the sprawling property features a guest house, a private tennis court, a sandy beach, and a one-of-a-kind home with lake views at almost every turn. Whether you’re looking for the perfect vacation spot for a large group or your family, and even furry companions, the White Pearl is a luxurious and beautiful catch for a Harbor Country getaway. Upon entry to the house, it’s hard not to be stunned at the immediate beauty. Making the most of the property’s premium location overlooking Lake Michigan, the home provides a unique take on an open-concept plan, with high vaulted ceilings, countless windows with abundant natural light, and sweeping views of Lake Michigan. In addition to the natural surroundings, the home is expertly decorated with a tasteful, modern aesthetic, and high-end Italian furnishings. The main floor includes a grand living area with serene views of the lake, a private light-filled bedroom, a family room with a fireplace, and an open-concept bedroom. Next to the airy dining room is a second living space with a TV and a bright, all-white kitchen with plenty of counter space and all the necessary cooking gear for the culinary inclined. There is a newly reconfigured master second main bedroom suite on the main floor as well. A good portion of the second floor is reserved for the primary main bedroom retreat that features an indoor balcony and outdoor porch, a private office, and a large bathroom with a soaking jacuzzi tub, a sauna, a double shower, and a skylight. The rest of the second floor includes two additional bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms and private porches. The private guest house has been fully renovated with a kitchen and new bathrooms. The guest house includes a first-floor kitchenette, a family room, a walk-out porch, a half bath, and a laundry room. The second floor of the guest house has a large bedroom with a king-size bed, a walk-out porch, and a full bathroom. The guesthouse now has a second bedroom with two twin beds as well. While there are plenty of spaces to stay in Harbor Country, it is safe to say that you won’t find any property like the White Pearl. THINGS TO KNOW The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, weather-permitting. The pool will be heated to 80 degrees prior to your arrival. If you wish for the heat to increase, please contact Vacasa after you secure your booking. The cost for additional pool heat is $25/night. This property is managed by Vacasa Michigan LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles. 1 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD25 per day must be paid prior to check-in. Guests can contact Vacasa after booking to purchase pool heat for your stay. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
