Peaceful 2 bedroom Victorian former stable

The cottage is a spacious, private, character filled home from home in which you will feel welcomed and calm. The space The cottage is entirely yours for the duration of your stay. It is a beautiful old building with quirks and character. Renovated to have all the comfort, amenities and connectivity you'd expect for modern living while still highlighting the original charm. You have a well equipped kitchen diner (highchair available on request) with plenty of storage space for longer stays. The downstairs bathroom has a toilet, sink and large shower with excellent water pressure. Shower gel and plenty of toilet rolls are provided because who wants the worry about running out?! No conditioner or shampoo though as we all have different hair needs! The living room has 2 huge gorgeous sofas adorned with big and small cushions for comfort, cashmere and wool blankets are available for extra snugness. An electric fire place gives the warmth without the hassle and maintenance of a log burner. Smart TV and fast WIFI mean you can enjoy the shows you're already binging and home. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms which sleep 4 people and both have room for a travel cot (1 can be provided on request it comes with the manufacture recommended mattress and no bedding as per safety regulations) Bedding is all high quality, high thread count cotton washed, ironed and looked after by me not a huge company to maintain high standards. It is soft and cool to the touch to ensure the all important decent nights sleep. Big, thick 100% cotton towels are a non negotiable here you'll be provided with 2 per person and smaller sets are provided for smaller children. The Velux windows have 2 built in blinds one to defuse light one to black it out. Guest access The cottage is entirely yours and yours alone for the duration of your stay. There are beautiful gardens and woodlands on the property which you are welcome to walk around. You will also have your own totally pet secure garden and patio area immediate outside your front door. There is ample parking for 2 cars on the gravelled area by the cottage or you can leave your car(s) on the other side of the gate and give yourselves a larger garden space, totally your choice! Other things to note There are plenty of places you can walk to from the cottage and regular buses you can catch at the bottom of the lane. However, it is beneficial to have a car to get around as there are lots of beautiful spots which are harder to reach without one. For 1 month or longer bookings please message me about rates.
