A very atmospheric, electrified log cabin on the shore of Mäntyharju's Pyhävesi for the real nature-lovers. Large terrace. Barbeque zone. A traditional lakefront sauna with windows to the lake. 2 piers. Rowing boat. Good fishing and other opportunities. 2 bicycles. The services of Mäntyharju (shops, cafes, drinking water, healthcare) are 10 km away. The distance from Helsinki to the cottage is about 200 km. Easy to get there and parking spaces for cars. Pets are welcome. The cottage is also for the owner's own use and is intended for cottage life. TERRITORY: The plot is multi-shaped, sloping (steep uphill), partly flat. The log cabin is at a vantage point on top of a cliff, where the sun shines all day. Here is a good opportunity to relax and calm down in the middle of nature, having a sauna, swimming and just enjoying the beautiful lake scenery. BEDROOMS AND GENERAL EQUIPMENT OF THE COTTAGE: The cottage is best suited for 4-6 people, but there are sleeping places for up to 8 people. Main building 28m2. A well-equipped kitchen increases the comfort of your vacation (fridge-freezer, stove, microwave, coffee and water kettle, etc.), dining table, air heat pump, fireplace, TV. Sleeping space for 2 people on a sofa-bed (width 140cm) and for 1-2 people on a sleeping mattress in the alcoves (140cm). The shed in a separate building has a 180 cm wide double bed and a bunk bed for two, air heat pump, TV. From the large, partially covered terrace, there is access to a spacious barbecue zone with an outdoor dining area (a long table with benches) and a gas grill. SHEETS AND TOWELS: There are blankets and pillows in the cabin. The guests should bring their own sheets and towels. It is also possible to rent bed linen and towels from us at a price of €15/person/visit. Clean bio-toilet is at your disposal. There is a 20l canister with clean drinking water in the kitchen. If you need more you have to bring it with you. The water from the lake is clean, but it cannot be recommended for drinking. However, it can be used for washing up the dishes and other washing. Lake water rises to the water point in the barbeque zone with a water pump. SAUNA AND SHORE: A traditional log sauna just a few meters from the lake with a wood-heated stove and a water heater. Washing facilities in the sauna's steam room, carried in buckets water from the lake. There is no running-water in the sauna. Private beach, 2 piers. A rowing boat and life jackets are at your disposal. Good boat connections to the center of Mäntyharju and the entire Mäntyharju route, including about 80 km of marked passage to several other lakes. Guest access Access information will be sent to you via Airbnb 2-3 days before your visit. Check-in is from 15 PM and check-out by 12 PM. Parking for the cars. You have a cabin, a guest-room, a barbecue zone and a lakefront sauna at your disposal. Blankets and pillows, toilet paper, small towels in the kitchen and toilet, firewood, gas grill, use of a rowing boat and life jackets are included in the rent. Sheets and towels for an additional fee or you can bring your own. Electric and fireplace heating Wi-Fi Cooking and serving utensils (you are free to use the spices and food supplies at the cottage). Other things to note Note: - DRINKING WATER: must be brought with you - LINEN AND TOWELS: linen and towels are not included in the cottage rent and guests should bring their own. It is also possible to rent bed linen and towels from us for €15/person/visit - If necessary, we will deliver a baby-bed for extra charge €10 (request in advance) - FISHING If you want to fish and you are 18-64 years old, you must pay the state fishery management fee. Example prices: 6 e/1 day, 16 e/7 days. The most convenient way to make the payment is in the Eräluvat online store. If you wish, you can also rent from us a silent transom-mount trolling motor (Minn Kota Endura Max) for the boat + battery for a daily price of 15 euros or 60 euros/week(request in advance). You can also rent from us a SUP board for a daily price of 10 euros or 50 euros/week (request in advance). - PETS: Pets are welcome! Please let us know about furry friends when making a reservation. Before you leave, remember to clean animal hair from the cabin and furniture and clean the territory from pet waste. Take care that pets do not cause damage. You are responsible for damages both in the cabin and on the territory - ON THE DAY OF DEPARTURE: Check-out by 12 pm Cleaning instructions can be found in the buildings. We hope that the cottage remains in the same condition as it was, when you arrived. • wash the dishes and put them back. Remember to clean the grill and close the gas bottle. Leave the floors clean. Check the sauna also. • clean up the garbage, collect the bottles and cans in a bag • leave the rented bed linen in a pile on the bed • take away the remains of food you brought with you • if you have pets with you, clean the pethair and clean up the petwaste Turn off the lights, check the electrical equipment
