Welcome to Casa Paloma! You'll love it here at our beautiful and peaceful 'home away from home! This romantic, charming vacation rental condo is a mile from historic Taos Plaza. Center of town, but on a very quiet cul-de-sac. Views of the mountains. Great skiing nearby! Air conditioned!! All of our guests have loved Casa Paloma and many come back as regulars. Often they'll tell me that they loved being in the casa so much that they'd eat at home and relax at home instead. Guests also love the numerous artwork throughout the casa, many done by members of my family (wonderful artists!). The reviews in our Guestbook say it all and hopefully we'll soon have more reviews on Airbnb! Taos Short-term Rental Permit: STR2018-00020 Guest have the casa to themselves as well as the private backyard with it's dining area and private hot tub. This is a vacation rental and is not an occupied home. I have met and chatted with many of our guests, but I also leave guests their privacy. If I'm in town and they wish me to stop by I do, but if they want to have a quiet relaxing private time, that's fine too. I love that our neighborhood is in the center of town, yet we're on a cul-de-sac so it's very quiet and the condo complex is pretty private without a "gated" feeling. You can walk down the road to the Baskin Robbins which many of our guests do - they take an evening stroll and back for an ice cream treat. You can walk to the main street which has public transportation, but Taos is pretty rural so a car is recommended for visiting all the sights around Toas like the Rio Grande Gorge bridge and Taos Pueblo and the Ski Valley. We do accept dogs, but they must be pre-approved first. We charge a $10/night fee and require that guests clean up after their dogs. If your dog was an excellent guest, we waive the pet fee on your next stay. We LOVE dogs and have some ourselves.
