Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. 🧘🏼‍♂️ We recently fully renovated our home, and would love to share the space. We revealed stone walls, wooden beams and fireplace. We laid a stone floor throughout the downstairs with underfloor heating and sanded back the wooden floors. The bathroom is fitted with marble. We furnished the cottage with pieces we love and hope that is reflected in the vibe of the cottage. Guests will have exclusive access to our home and private courtyard. The space 🏡 LOCATION Our cottage is located in Whitchurch, Cardiff with a driveway that can park a large vehicle or two small vehicles (e.g, two Mini's). ⛰️ We are also located on the outskirts of a nature reserve with walking/running and cycling paths to Central Cardiff (in one direction), Castle Coch and Garth mountain (in the other) all from the Taff Trail. 📌 Cardiff City Centre: 20 minute drive 📌 Nearest Bus Stop to Cardiff City Centre: Across the road (Stagecoach 132 & 136) 📌 Nearest Train Station to Cardiff City Central: 4 minute walk 📌 Cardiff Castle / Utilita Arena Cardiff / Principality Stadium: All within the centre 📌 Cardiff Bay: 24 minute drive or direct train 📌 Nearest Local Shop: 5 minute walk 📌 Nearest Supermarket: 5 minute drive/20 minute walk to Asda 📌 Nearest Pub: Across the road 📌 Nearest Gym & Spa: 8 minute walk (day pass available) ⚡ Electric Charging Station: Across the road in carpark 🏡 THE COTTAGE Relaxed living room and dining space, Google mini speaker with Spotify loaded (Hey, Google. Play *song*), underfloor heating (living room), bio-ethernal for cosy fire lit nights, 500mb WiFi and 55" Samsung Frame TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix guest accounts. ☕ Kitchen: Nespresso coffee machine, fridge & freezer, combi oven/microwave & full oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher and underfloor heating. 🪴 Outside: Cotswold stone private courtyard, with olive trees. 🛏️Main Bedroom: Ensuite shower & bath, complimentary shampoo & conditioner, hairdryer, double bed, wardrobe and Google mini speaker. 🛏️ Single Bedroom: Cosy, wooden beamed ceiling room. 💡 We have introduced Google Home smart features, that allows you to control the heating, lighting and for playing music or asking general questions with voice enabled commands. The downstairs lighting can change from warm - cool light, and can be dimmed via a controller. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to our home and private courtyard, by using the lockbox located at the front of the property for ease of access. A key code will be generated and included in your booking confirmation. Other things to note Unfortunately the property isn’t most suitable for those with limited mobility - the stairs being modern and minimalistic, has no hand rail - see photo and no guard rail in the bathrooms. Due to quality furnishings of the property, it is not ideal for young children. This is a smoke-free and pet-free home.
