Hummingbird Hide-Away

Welcome to the Hummingbird Hideaway! Relax and make memories with your family in this peaceful, spacious, family-friendly home with a beautiful, private backyard and a converted garage that adds extra hang-out space. We have spacious, paved parking area that can hold cars, a boat, etc. 
We are only minutes from several springs as well as the Suwannee, Ichetucknee & Santa Fe rivers. Being as we are only a few feet away from a school and just off a major highway we are not pet friendly, The space Branford is the Spring Diving Capital of the World and has many local restaurants and spots for good food, coffee, gas/fishing bait/etc.
Our home features amenities that will make this a perfect spot for your family to host a memorable vacation for adults & children. We are within walking distance of the main street of town, the river, parks, restaurants, and a local coffee shop! There is a sidewalk to our home that will take you a few blocks to the main street where you can walk around and enjoy our small-town and all the local hospitality.   Our backyard shares a fence with the local Elementary school, so during the weekdays, you may hear the school’s bell or even children playing during recess. Because of this, we do have to make sure to disclose we are within 100 ft. of a school. Guest access Our entire home is available for your use except for the inside of the shed.
Please only park on the driveway or by the white fence on the right side of the driveway. Do not drive in the backyard or on the sides of our yard as we have septic tanks there that are not compatible with the weight of cars.   Where you’ll be The Hummingbird Hideaway is only a few blocks from the Main Street of Branford. Escape the city life and enjoy our tranquil oasis of a small town! Our backyard features one of the most majestic oak trees and offers a private space to escape in. We are extremely close to lots of springs & rivers to enjoy. Gainesville is about 45 minutes away & Lake City/Live Oak is about 20 minutes away.
 We have a sidewalk that you can utilize to walk a few blocks into town. We are also directly across the road from one of the best southern restaurants called Sisters Café (get the fried chicken or burger.   My wife (Susan) and I are the hosts for this house, and you may interact with either during your reservation communication   During your stay We are as available as you wish us to be :)
We live in the area & have family that lives nearby should you need anything at all.
We do maintain the property & the yard, so we may be around the property during your visit for routine -outside- maintenance. We will ALWAYS let you know in advance as we respect your privacy & understand that your Airbnb stay is for a vacation. We respect your time & appreciate you loving and having fun in our home as we have. We want you to make lots of fun memories, & if we can be of assistance or guidance, we would love to help you in any way. Other things to note Only certified emotional support pets & service animals are allowed at this property due to the proximity of an elementary school & a state highway. We do not have a fully fenced yard. We do not have a fully fenced front yard that sit on the highway. The back of our property is fully private from the school.
