This private home on Collins Pond in Windham, Maine is the ideal spot for two guests seeking a romantic getaway. The cottage features one bedroom, full kitchen and modern bath. Soothing water views, stone hearth and outdoor dining add charm to the deck. Accessed by steep stone stairs, not ideal for guests with limited mobility or children. Please no pets, parties or smoking. There is a 3 day minimum stay. The space Unique design features and curated details make this home memorable and comfortable. Please read the captions with each picture. The full kitchen has just what you will need including ample dishes, gas range, pots and pans, microwave and toaster. Details such as luxury shower in the newly renovated bathroom, hardwood floors throughout and an antique chandelier hanging above the stairway enhance the hospitality. Two kayaks and a canoe are included, avaialble to launch from your private dock. Neither smoking nor pets are permitted . Guest access This stay includes a private two-story, 1200 square-foot cottage. This house has a deck, balcony, lawn and 150 feet of waterfront on Collins Pond. A canoe, two kayaks and a paddle boat are included in the Collins Pond Cottage experience. Parking for two cars is available up a small hill from the house. Cottage is ideal for two guests, but not suited for children. Check-in begins at 3:00 pm. Check-out is by 3:00 pm. Other things to note Our North Windham location is handy to classic Maine attractions. The Old Port, a mecca for dining, craft beer, arts and shopping, is just 17 miles from Collins Pond. Our location is unique because although you will feel like you are "at camp", North Windham shopping features Shaws, Hannaford, Walmart and many smaller retail stores. Just a five minute drive from the cottage you will find a movie theater, pharmacy, post office, banks and a variety of dining and fast food options. Speaking of shopping, the LL Bean Flagship store is 21 miles to the East, surrounded by amazing outlet stores and galleries. Outdoor enthusiasts will find ample opportunities for hiking, biking and exploration.
