Ideal location between Old Town, Leith, and Portobello, this cosy double bedroom is perfect for exploring Edinburgh. Bus and transport links 5 minute walk from the flat will take you straight into town (20 mins) or through the quaint high street of Portobello (5-10mins). Only a 15 min walk to Holyrood Park or the beach to explore some outdoors and nature trails in Edinburgh. Ample on-street parking. Should you require a car during your stay, we also have a car for hire on Turo. Please enquire! The space Your room is 3.07x2.4m (10’1x7’10 feet) and has a double bed, a wardrobe to store your belongings, and a smart TV compatible with Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime (you’ll need your own account). Although we do have central heating, we provide a space heater in your room for your convenience. In the kitchen we provide a coffee and tea bar for you to help yourself. You’ll also find oatmeal and dried fruit to enjoy in the morning. In the kitchen is the washing machine. If you need to do any laundry, the drying rack is behind the couch in the living room. In the living room, there is a cosy couch, smart TV, and two large windows overlooking the private garden. The shared bathroom in the hall will have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided for you. We also live in the flat but when we are on holiday, we host our bedroom on Airbnb so you may be sharing the common spaces with us or another Airbnb guest. Guest access You have access to the whole house (except the other bedroom) and we want you to feel at home! Please make use of the bathroom and kitchen as you like. But please note that you will likely be sharing the space with us or another guest so please be considerate when using the amenities. Thank you! The private front garden is there for you to enjoy. We ask that you do not go into the back shared garden. Please let us know if you would like to do laundry and we will gladly give you instructions for the machine. During your stay I will generally be around the house during your stay but I work, exercise and have an active social life so I am often out and about. If I am home for an evening then I am happy to socialise. If I am out then please make yourself at home and feel free to make yourself a meal or watch tv. I also occasionally rent my bedroom on airbnb when I am away for longer periods of time. Other things to note I will often be around but please be advised that when I go away I sometimes make my room available. In this case you may be sharing the common areas (kitchen, living room and bathroom) with other guests.
