Pet-friendly guesthouse with a view. Located in Northeast GA, 1.5 hours north of Atlanta, 45 minutes from Helen, Clemson and 2 minutes from beautiful Toccoa Falls and historic downtown. Our guest house has 2 beds, one couch, a full kitchen, two baths, two porches and is handicap accessible upon request. The guest house can be used for small parties and get-togethers, for an additional fee beyond the nightly/daily guest fee. Guest often see deer, fox, wild birds and beautiful sunrise/sunsets. The space This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage sits on top of a knoll overlooking the Chattahoochee Forest. Enjoy the birds on our little knoll and hiking trails throughout the 30 acre property. This property is perfect for families and pets due to its wide open spaces to roam and play. Guest access We try to meet our guests initially or sometime during the stay, and then we leave you alone. We ask as a courtesy you give us an ETA and ETD prior to your reservation. This would be a great help to us in our planning process. When out for the day, please turn the thermostat to 78 degrees in the summer and 60 in the winter. Check in is after 3:00 pm. Check out is by 11:00 am. Other things to note We are at the entrance to NE GA outdoor playground. Historic Downtown Toccoa is a 10 minute walk away. Beautiful Toccoa Falls (higher than Niagara Falls) is two minutes from our road. There is an additional charge of $50.00 per person per night/day over four guests, not to exceed five people maximum. This includes children of ALL ages. Since there are only beds for four, one person would need to make use of our couch for sleeping. Please note, our fees are for day or night use. To be clear, should you pay for four people to spend the night and additional guests come during the day or night, you would need to pay additional fees per per person per day. We are firm on this. It is what keeps our guest house nice for future guests. The propane for the gill is complimentary but only if you clean the grill both inside and out after you are done using it. Items left behind will only be mailed back upon request and with a minimum of a $25 charge. Guests with dogs will love this space. It is perfect for hiking, roaming, playing and gazing. There is room for two parked cars. Additional cars need to park in Lot A, outside the gate. Please note: the owners have two friendly, sociable chocolate labradors that occasionally roam the property as well.
