The Place of Three Treasures, on Sequim Bay
If views of water, majestic mountains & Mt Baker, plus the sun of Sequim's Rainshadow bring you joy, then here's the unique & tranquil getaway you're looking for. Inspired by a trip to Japan, this lower level of a 2 story Sequim Bay waterfront home has it all: a kitchen w/everything to whip up a gourmet meal; a living room w/TV & fireplace; covered outdoor patio w/dining & sitting areas & barbque; hot tub & fire pit for outdoor fun, washer & dryer; master w/big 2 headed shower & more! You have your own parking area and private entry to the lower level with a covered outdoor patio. We live upstairs and try to be quiet and give you lots of privacy, but you may be aware we are living there too. We do charge for doggie guests and hot tub cleaning. Plz read below in House Manual. When you arrive, you drive around the right side of the house, through a gate, to a private parking area. You will see the covered patio and boardwalk that leads to the fire pit. Please be aware of children and pets going near the edge of the bluff. Trisha is a Realtor in Sequim, so she knows the area very well and can help you find most anything. Michael is a former Scout Master for a Boy Scout Troop, so he knows many great hiking trails and outdoorsy things to do. Generally we leave you alone to enjoy your stay, but Trish's phone number is posted and we are readily available if you need us. I give my guests lots of privacy but check in to see how everything is during their visit. But do check out my “Guidebook for Sequim” on AirBnb site!! Lots of info and ideas for hikes, etc there. Feels rural (you may see deer, eagles, coyotes, etc) but less than 5 minutes from a supermarket (QFC), and a couple more minutes to "downtown". 1 mile south to John Wayne Marina with a boat launch, a great place to walk into water, play along the beach, put your kayak or paddleboard in, plus an amazing restaurant - Dockside Grill (that now has limited hours). A bit further south is Sequim Bay Park, which also has a boat launch & camping. We are also a few minutes away from the Olympic Discovery Trail, where you can bike or walk the dog for miles. We do not have access to the water. The bluff is about 40’. But 1 mile away is John Wayne Marina (he loved to hang out here) and you can walk into the water and launch your kayaks or paddle boards there.
