The friendly host lives upstairs and can help with tips or a warm fire. Wi-Fi is available, and the space supports remote work. Escape the noise and enjoy doing nothing. Let the gentle warmth of the fire-heated Goemon bath and the soothing sounds of insects at night melt away your stress and calm both body and mind. The host, Yosuke, lives on the second floor and is happy to support your stay—whether it’s tending the fire, preparing the bath, offering local tips, or occasionally sharing music from his guitar or viola. Nearby activities include SUP, cycling, forest bathing, skiing, and hot springs, making it easy to shape your days however you wish. Come and experience a unique flow of time and the quiet spirit of Japanese culture found only here Guest access You’re welcome to use all areas except the second floor. This includes the garden, the kitchen, and the bonfire area. About the building • The house is an 80-year-old traditional farmhouse and may make some creaking sounds. • It can get quite cold in the winter, but heating is provided. • Since we are surrounded by nature, you may see insects depending on the season. 2. Use of facilities • Please clean up after using the kitchen. • The Goemon bath may have limited hours, but I’m flexible depending on your needs. • If you need more firewood or assistance, feel free to ask. 3. Pets and smoking • Smoking is not allowed indoors. Please use the outdoor smoking area. • Pets are generally not allowed, but feel free to ask in advance. 4. Check-in / Check-out & transportation • Check-in: from 4:00 p.m. / Check-out: by 11:00 a.m. • Access and parking details will be shared before your arrival. 5. About the host • I live on the second floor. While respecting your privacy, I’m happy to join you for a bonfire, live music, or a drink—only if you feel like it.
