Quiet, private apartment close to it all
Quiet, private apartment close to it all
Description
The light-filled, spacious apartment is located in the quiet Houserville area of State College. Its central location gives guests easy access to all that State College has to offer—2.9 miles from Beaver Stadium, 4.3 miles from Old Main, and 1.8 miles from groceries, restaurants, and shopping. The location is perfect for peace and quiet, while being very close to it all. This unit is detached and not part of the main house. The space The apartment is located above a detached two car garage (one flight of stairs) and has its own parking and entrance. The apartment consists of a large living space which is used as a bedroom with a queen size bed. There is also a small sitting area with a loveseat and chair and a dining area with a table and two chairs. The full bath has a shower and there are custom stained glass windows that let in the light. The kitchen has a stove, oven, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, and is well stocked with essentials (e.g., tea, coffee, cooking oil, pots and pans, dishes, mugs, glasses). There is a separate office, containing a desk and chair. The apartment does not have a TV. For your safety, the entry door has a combination door lock and the code is changed after each guest. Dogs are welcome with prior approval and there is no additional pet fee or pet cleaning fee (2 dog limit). The dog must be on leash when outside and if left unattended in the apartment, the dog must be crated. There are some great dog friendly hikes and walking paths close by that your canine companion would love! Unfortunately, due to owner’s allergy, we do NOT allow cats. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment, except for one small bedroom that is used for storage and is locked. Other things to note Although we are located very close to town, we are in the country. One of our neighbors is a horse farm that has a few donkeys that like to bray. I have chickens- no rooster. I also have dogs and often take in foster dogs. The dogs are separated from the apartment by a fenced in yard and guests will have no contact with them. Out of respect for my neighbors, no loud music, gatherings, or excessive noise of any kind.
