A traditional Surry Hills Terrace house for a couple or individual. The location is amazing & central - a vibrant & creative neighbourhood close to all the best cafes & easily connected to Sydney's best sights. You will have the top floor queen bedroom and the entire lower floor of the house and cute garden to yourself for the stay. The space The house is a large terrace house in leafy and vibrant Surry Hills, one of the most popular suburbs in Sydney. The terrace is the traditional Sydney Style, and is renovated and features wooden floor boards on the lower levels and modern kitchen, outdoor eating area and two dining areas and lounge room. There is a large living room (with TV, Apple TV and couch), a dining room, a large kitchen with gas cooking, large fridge, breakfast table in the sun, a large courtyard and outdoor seating, washing/drying machine, 1.5 bathrooms. You will have the ground floor living quarters, garden and the top floor of the house to yourself. You will not be sharing the house with anyone else. This is our home that we are renting out short term, so it is lived in and has all the quirks and bric brac of our lives in it so you can really experience living in Surry Hills like a local. We have a local friend who will be your contact while you stay at our house. The room is only available for single occupancy or for a couple as it has one queen bed. The bedroom is on the second floor - up two flights of stairs, so please ensure you are ok with stairs before booking. We require that guests have previous booking history and positive reviews from the air bnb community. The house is to be used only by the people who have booked the space on air bnb - Strictly no gatherings or parties at the house or the booking will be terminated. It's easy to get around Sydney without a car with this house as your base. The tram to the city runs past the end of our street and we are also linked by buses and just 15 mins walk from Central station. However if you do have a car and need a car space please message us to enquire about arranging that. I work from home 2 days per week - which is why I would prefer guests who are working or studying in the day time or who are out during the day. Evenings and weekend no problem though :) My partner James and I live in this house, we love to cook, go to galleries and host guests from around the world :) Other things to note Please lock the front door when both coming in and leaving the house.
