The cottage has a traditional yet chic interior with an eclectic mix of original features mixed with lovely modern touches. Sink into comfortable sofas and beds after a day of surfing or walking. With a sumptuous teal-coloured velvet sofa and blue linen smaller sofa - both from Loaf - you'll be tucked up and cosy in no time. Bold touches of colour teamed with equally colourful cushions and blinds are scattered throughout the cottage. SITTING ROOM In the sitting room there are two comfy sofas, and a 32” television with a Humax digital terrestrial TV set top box, a Now TV box for streaming channels, a Bluray / DVD player with a film library, and a Pure Evoke internet radio which has a Bluetooth input for playing music from your own devices. STAYING AT OLD LANVEAN Please note the cottage is available for short breaks during the winter. During the Spring and summer from April to end of October, and Christmas and New Year we take a minimum of 7 day bookings. SLEEPING There are two stunning bedrooms to choose from: The master bedroom is just lovely and comes with a super king-size zip-and-link bed, meaning it can be set up either as a double or twin beds for flexible sleeping arrangements. Furnished with pretty velvet fabrics from Liberty this gorgeous room has a window seat and views over the garden - the perfect spot for a long, lazy lie-in! In addition, there's a chest of drawers and hanging space. The second bedroom is also gorgeous and has a double bed. Both beds have cotton linen and plump cushions to ensure a good nights' sleep. ALL YEAR ROUND BREAKS The cottage is super cosy and is centrally heated. The bedrooms are fitted with light proof blinds to ensure a good nights sleep. During high and mid season arrival dates are Saturday's, and during the low season we can arrange for arrival dates on any day of the week. COOKING AND DINING Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped country cottage kitchen, with wooden work tops, ceramic sink, fridge, cooker, microwave, washing machine and a cupboard stocked with a range of cooking appliances. The dining room features recycled and vintage items including a solid oak kitchen table and upcycled chairs. With the ability to seat 6, the dining table is perfect for entertaining if you’d like to invite friends over for the evening. The room has views into the garden and a window seat. THE GARDEN The garden is situated in a beautiful spot, and the peaceful valley and village that surrounds it is a haven for wildlife. Enjoy outdoor dining on the table and chair set which seats 6, and we also have a wooden garden bench. The garden is fully fenced, perfect for bringing your four legged friends. The cottage is also perfect for both romantic escapes and also family breaks. A high chair and cot are also available. Parking is on the lane right next to the cottage. The key box which provides access to the cottage. You can arrive from 4pm and check-out is at 9.30 AM.
