Sinking into the 1000 Tukkies chair, losing yourself in that one good book. Fresh air by the sea, coffee in bed or in the sun in the garden. Salty kisses and bathing until you shrivel ❤️ The space You will have the entire house at your disposal. Vintage all over with original cassina sofas and a 1000 tukkies (reclining) chair which you can slide back for cozy naps. You will find blankets and pillows, books, magazines and games everywhere. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher has a Moccamaster, Nespresso, milk frother, toaster and a well-stocked china cabinet. The tastiest coffee and tea are available in abundance. Downstairs is the bathroom with rain shower and separate toilet. The upper floor is completely open with a large made-up bed of 180 x 200 full of pillows. From the bed you can step (alone or with two) into the bath 🤩 Please note, upstairs it is quite low, so the high mattress is on the floor (see beam in photo). For people with walking difficulties, it may be less suitable. The brick floor comes from an old abbey and underneath it is floor heating, which makes the cottage very comfortable even in the colder months. The cherry on top is the original oven room. The oven has provided the hamlet with bread for years and is now retired. Fortunately, we were able to keep it during the renovation and it has become a showpiece in the house. We have transformed the oven room into a breakfast, private dining, game room or workspace. We have chosen not to put a TV, but there is internet and a Sonos speaker! You have sun or shade somewhere all day. The front garden is very sunny (including morning sun) with unobstructed views, and the large (250 m2) intimate backyard is truly "heaven" with seats and loungers everywhere. Guest access The cottage and gardens are entirely at your disposal during the stay Other things to note The cottage is located in a small hamlet with incredibly sweet neighbors. We of course want to keep our relationship with them good and ask you to take this into account by keeping it quiet and, for example, not playing music outside. We do not allow pets or children in this cottage. Tourist tax in 2025 is €2.55 pppn and must be paid separately upon arrival or departure. This can be done in cash, by bank transfer or by means of a Tikkie. Please indicate your preference when booking. We have 2 electric bicycles (Gazelle) available.
