Blissful Retreat in the Heart of Mapua Village

Located in the heart of the village, Mapua Fernz is a 5 minute walk to the village centre and to the famous Mapua Wharf, renown for its art galleries, cafe's and restaurants. Mapua translates to abundance. When you arrive in Mapua you will feel like you have left the rest of the world behind, stress dissipates and you feel relaxed straight away. The village is quiet and yet at the same time vibrant. It is very family orientated, fun and safe for kids. The space Our home is not huge but has six bedrooms. It is great for a couple, a family get together or for a group of friends to catch up. Downstairs where the main living areas and kitchen are, there is a master with ensuite, a small bunkroom for two and a separate room with queen sized bed and a bathroom off the living room with laundry facilities. Upstairs there are three bedrooms with Queen sized beds and a shared bathroom. All beds are extremely comfortable and we have tried to furnish the home with good quality furniture and accessories. The area has a number of great golf courses, beautiful walks and superb mountain biking so whether you are feeling active or just fancy a stroll to the wharf for a glass of wine at a café, or fish and chips on the wharf, whatever works for you you will love it. The house has a log burner with plenty of wood and movies on Netflix as well as card and games so if the weather doesn't show up on the day you can have some fun with family or friends. There is a bbq on the deck with outdoor furniture and loungers and Tui in the nearby trees. Guest access Depending on the size of your group you will have access to the Master bedroom and main living area with other areas available depending on the size of your group. We don't lock off different areas at this stage but do ask guests to stick to the rooms they are renting so we don't have to charge for cleaning non used rooms. Other things to note While pets are not formally allowed, if you have a small house friendly dog please contact us as we will allow pets on a case by case basis. There is some equipment that guests are welcome to use in the room to the side of the garage. This includes tennis racquets and some fishing rods (so you can take the kids for a fish off the wharf or in the estuary) and other bits and pieces that you are welcome to use we just ask you to replace when finished.
