Wonderful cottage with sauna, only steps from lake

Hej! Welcome to Talludden. Thank you for stopping by. You will not find a more peaceful place to stay, than at our cottage next to the lake Töck. If you want to find a place to relax and be in the middle of nature and still have plenty to do; this is it. The space There is one main house on the property with a big veranda, 2 bedrooms (one with 2 singles, one with 1 bunk bed), a fully equipped kitchen, lounge room, bathroom, and a separate laundry room. We can arrange for a baby cot to be set up if required. We also have a second timber house on the property, about 20 meters from the main house. It’s called ‘bua’ and is a super cosy cottage with 2 single beds. It is incredibly authentic and has lots of character. There are plenty of activities on our ‘udde’, apart from relaxing of course. We spend lots of time by the water on our jetty; swimming, fishing (we have lots of bass, pike & trout) and going out on the boat. For the adventure-seekers we have a windsurfing board and if the weather permits you are welcome to give it a go. Don’t miss the opportunity to warm up in our sauna and take turns jumping in the lake. It’s absolute bliss, all year round! There are several walking tracks close to the cottage, and if you are in season you can come home with bucketloads of mushrooms & berries (mainly kantarell, blueberries & lingonberries). Lots of people go hunting in these forests too during the hunting season. There is something for everyone. Fishing licenses can be purchased at the petrol station in Töcksfors. Inside of the cottage you’ll find an abundance of games, books and puzzles to keep you busy. We have plenty of toys for children (0-10) as well. There is one fireplace in the kitchen with wood to grab from the woodshed. Feel free to bring out the lumberjack in you, and axe your own wood for either the indoor fireplace or the lake-side fire pit. In the evenings we suggest making a fire down in the fire pit. Marshmallows is a given for the kids. There is nothing quite like sitting down by the fire & enjoying a glass of wine. Please also visit our insta page: tall.udden and tag us in any photos! Cleaning: We require guests to please clean the property at checkout and to leave it as tidy as you found it.
